Flamenco! Learn BULERÍAS in 3 exercises

Музыка

I have met many players who really want to play the bulerías but have a hard time mastering the compás, over which everything happens. The "compás" is the ongoing ground rhythm you are learning the bulerías, you should get a very good basis by mastering these three exercises presented.
Bulería is a groove that must first be understood, and then later felt. Once you feel it in depth, you can apply falsetas, compositions and improvisation over it, and it's all great musical fun!

You can find comments like this on virtually every tutorial on any subject, and it's almost always bollocks. However, having watched dozens of videos teaching / explaining Bulerías, in this case I agree that this is in top #3.

@@Anriuko Indeed, and I didn't post my comment lightly, as I have also watched and listened to so many other explanations of this previously

that was an awesome tutorial, thanks so much! maybe a good sequel to this would be how to learn those falsetas or create one yourself, what's typical of them etc.

This is fantastic! I've played for 57 years and you are one of the BEST teachers I have come across. Excellent job on this. I might just add this to my current piece "Luiza" arr. by Raphael Rabello.

Excellent, Mister Felipe Coelho. I have been making an effort at the Flamenco guitar for more than 22 years. I started in later life. After getting some some productive mentoring by both live Maestros and "online" Maestros, I still struggled to produce the quality Bulerias Compas that I wanted to in order be able to accompany a Flamenco dance class. The live Flamenco dance classes might have passed me by. However; I did not even finish your KZread video tutorial here, today, because; I wanted to pick up my guitar and practice what I was learning. Its all coming together for me now. Thank you. And, Ole.

I’ve been a shredder for 20 years playing with a pick and recently really got into flamenco music. I’m currently using my acoustic steel string guitar to learn which isn’t perfect but it works for now. Your videos are very helpful! I realized that my right hand wasn’t skilled at all, specially finger picking. But your videos are helping me greatly. Thanks for the content!

@@FelipeCoelhoGuitar I appreciate the shout back brother. Do you teach entire pieces? In looking to learn a Nino Miquel piece but I dont have time to work it up myself. I've been teaching 35yrs and gig so would be ideal to have the music already written down and see it on video/lesson. If not I'm still going to continue supporting your fine videos and teachings. Thanks Eric

I downloaded a "solo compas" vídeo from KZread, put the file in the video editor and took the áudio from it, and mixed over with my own playing. When I recorded myself I was listening to that vídeo on earphones in order to keep the righr tempo . Get it?
