​@@ThomFoolery1 Hijacking this comment to drop another fun fact: You mentioned in the beginning that the song has that 'disco vibe' to it - I love when people pick up on that because Rammstein describe/term their own music as "Dance Metal" :)

Since you were praising the guitarist's vocals, Rammstein's lead guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe has his own band, called Emigrate. They never played live sadly, but there are a lot of great music videos you should check out. He even did a duett with Till on his most recent album called "Let's Go", which despite sounding very different from either band's styles, is a great song.

I grew up on heavy rock and prog in the 70s. For me, the 80s were the doldrums, except for The Cure. Then came grunge - Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden - and then came Rammstein!!! ETA When my neighbour played loud rap music, I put on Rammstein at full volume.

I've gone through 70yrs , not really into Rock....Then came Rammstein. I just love these guys.

I think Rammstein is a lot like AC/DC in a sense, in that their sound might not be the most complex, and maybe sometimes their songs can sound a little samey, but they command it so well that it doesn't matter.

Flake is a beast on the treadmill! Love Rammstein, pure, rock, hard and often tongue in cheek. Deutschland is maybe the best German song ever!

I see Thomas reacting to Rammstein, I click like before the video even starts! The energy with you rocking to this older banger is very fun to watch. These guys don´t disapoint, such a heavy and at the same time simple and catchy composition. Try the amazing "Engel" live at Madison Square Garden or the (like this one, also simple but so mesmerizing) "Wollt Ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen“ live in Paris. Keep up the great videos.

Awesome! Flake has done that dance during this song since the beginning, it's awesome to see him still doing it. This is from their first album published in 1995. :) And I agree, the backing vocals don't get enough credit. I don't think you've done "Engel" yet? The Madison Square Garden performance is amazing. If that gets blocked (it might), Live at Rock im Park 2017 is also a good one.

Great reaction as always! Reacting to Rammstein is always worth it! I don't know if you've already done a reaction to "Mutter" live in Paris - if not, do it! "Wiener Blut" live from Wacken is another great heavy song. But first you should do some research to the story behind this song. It's as creepy and horryfing as the vibe of the song!

I'd suggest 'Mann Gegen Mann' (live in Paris) in case you haven't heard that one yet 😄 Also I strongly recommend eventually watching the whole Paris concert DVD. The filming, and visual effects added in the post production make the show look even crazier - more is more 😁

If you wanna go on enjoying your journey with Rammstein I would suggest to you to do some reserach on the songs before dving into the videos. Most of them have a very serious backstory. Mostly related to true crime that happened.

It was the right clip. It's just cut shit on youtube. No idea why. But only one more word would have come. A maximum of 2 seconds are missing.

Which video did you watch? If I klick at the origin video its blocked. (Maybe only in my country?) Was ist MSG?

I could have used another 15 or 20 seconds of solo, only song that I have seen that has solos. The sudden end, is normal.

I wonder, if the audience gets the meaning of the lyrics ...

The last bit is cut off so it stays on KZread. You probably missed only one note with that.

It is about a rape, but I think it's important to also bring up difficult subjects. Till has told that a woman wrote to him after they released this song, thanking him for writing it, since it gave her a way to deal with things that had happened to her.
