FLAGSTONE CLIMBING AREA - Driving Directions & Full Approach - EXCELLENT OREGON SPORT CLIMBING

Спорт

Flagstone is a beautiful Andesite formation about an hour's drive from Eugene, Oregon. It's home to many great sport routes ranging from 5.7 through 5.13
Directions on how to get there from Eugene:
- From Eugene take Hwy 126 approximate 38 miles east towards Finn Rock.
- Turn right (South) onto Quartz Creek Road onto a one-lane bridge and cross over the McKenzie River.
- Quartz Creek Road becomes Forest Service road #2618. (NF-2618)
- Follow NF-2618 for 14.5 miles. Watch for a fork in the road at mile 11 (keep right) and then another fork around mile 13 (keep left). As of October, 2022, NF-2618 was well marked and both of those junctions.
- Flagstone is located at the junction of NF-2618 and NF-350. You will turn right onto NF-350, go about 300 yards and find a place to park where the road is widened enough for vehicle parking.
The hiker's trail is just off the road, on the east side of the road, near the parking area. You can't really see the rock from the road as the trees are so tall.
Flagstone's parking area GPS coordinates are:
Latitude: 43°59'11.28"N
Longitude: 122°17'56.95"W

Nice job Dad! I was watching videos about old toyota pickups and decided to watch some of your other stuff. I have an 87 SR5 with 22RET in it. As per your advice I will buy a factory SM ASAP. I want to return her to stock condition eventually. Hello from Ferndale, WA.
