You really deserve like 5 million subs at least for your hard work.

The reason why there wasn't a lot of negative feedback on your previous video was that you handled this delicate topic very well, presenting both sides and mentioning all types of dispute that have arisen, instead of being partial and one-sided. I'm Greek and, although I don't agree with the name Macedonia for the neighbouring country, I believe that you did a fairly good job at presenting facts and remaining neutral. Keep up the good work!

hi barby, one of the things i like about your channel is that you give a balanced view of all your subjects, which is yet another reason while i'll keep watching. of course there are always thee haters, but they're everywhere...

great topics and point of views my friend.you did greece and albania and bulgaria as well,and the only one thing i dont like is that there are no macedonian minority mentioned in the video.but historically and topographically there are a lot of macedonians and political organisations in their country fighting to be recognized.just do a little research just for your own information and to get a better picture of the balkans.Why ,how and who is not registrating the macedonian minority .But all in all great reviews ,keep up the good work

Well the Slavs (Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia) are all part of the same family with Russia. Greece and Albania are both orphans, Romania is Italy's long lost cousin, and Turkey is the land lord that everyone hates.

I know you splited the video of the nations in 2, for more videos, money merchandising, purpose. And i think is great, 1 country 2 videos, awesome. But the "flag friday" its kind of boring, you could use this friday video to talk about the flag, but some others stuff about the country in question, like something you missed in the previous video, or just make fun comments of the comments that the 1st video had. Just an idea.

Like for America, he can talk about how English was bought to America and American English diverged from Uk English (In brief). Or for a Language like Spanish, what language it was from (Vulgar Latin) and its similarities to languages nearby (Also in brief) :) Barby is already a language savvy guy so he can also base his experiences when he was learning the language (If he did learn the language).

There are lots of people out there who truly DON'T know much about languages and want to learn more. He's done videos on languages some people out there may never have heard of (like Kurdish). Yes, believe it or not, not everybody is as knowledgeable as you, Sarban.... I know a bit about languages/linguistics but I learn something new from Paul all the time! Particularly the grammar of languages. I like his clear and concise voice and he does occasionally talk about the history of a language. You know, sometimes people want somebody to do the work FOR them. Using your "you can find out after 2 seconds on Google" example, well you could do the same about every country of the world, couldn't you? Just read the Wikipedia article and CIA Factbook and you could learn exactly what Barby tells us in his videos! However what you don't get is the humour, the visuals, and it feels more interesting learning from somebody else. That is why these KZreadrs do what they do! You can't really compare LangFocus to xidnaf either, because they have ENTIRELY different themes and purposes lol.... Just my two cents!

@@PrincessLockette I'm guessing you're from the west and only met like a few albanians and greeks then, i know a lot more since I'm Albanian, the truth is we hate them a lot and they hate us but we don't really talk about it that much

@@rsoldier7829 the truth is that -some- albanians and greeks "hate" eachother, but the majority of greeks and albanians dont hate eachother (especially since the majority of people dont fight on the internet about historical stuff, which is probably the only time you will see albanians and greeks "hating eachother") And the governments are pretty nutural towards eachother. I cant find any reason why someone would think that the governments dislike one another.

The Vergina sun isn't copyrighted by anyone, it was characteristic of Greek art but was used by a lot of people. Are you going to sue the USA for using an alphabet originating from the Greek one? The thing is that after the discovery in the 70s everyone was saying it was Alexander's emblem and both communities started saying they have been always using it and has been a national emblem when it is just a shape like the meander.

Macedonia was practically Greek throughout history, with Alexander and the Greek empire both being Macedonian and being considered Greek, both under occupation from Turkey... I really think it's hard for Macedonians to find some cultural symbolism without getting into Greek stuff, and Greeks should realise that half what they call Greek is actually Macedonian!

I’m not trying to be rude but you’re confused about the conflict. You are confusing the original Kingdom of Macedonia and the country that decided to call itself Macedonia full of people that migrated to the region. They have nothing to do with the original Macedonia. Took the name, then started culturally appropriating the history. They don’t share the same ethnicity (a quick DNA test will prove that) the same language or traditions. If a small country formed right on the border of France, within France or near France and named itself Paris....... then started claiming all of the history of the original Paris...... how do you think the French and Parisians would feel?

I'm curious to know what you Macedonians think of your national emblem. Do you think it should be changed or are you satisfied with it? I'm guessing since you've had the emblem for so long there's no real enthusiam to change it.
