To move Notes from any pattern to any pattern [Control+A to select all -> Control+C to Copy -> Ctrl+V to Paste]

Thats awesome, I wasn't aware of that shortcut. I will make an updated tutorial for this. I think the method demonstrated in this tutorial might be useful for copying certain sections but Ctrl B definitely looks like the go to shortcut for copying an entire selection. Thanks for pointing this out!

Tyler Shoop Right click on the channel, and select copy. Then go to the next pattern, and on the next channel right click and select paste Hope this helps☺☺

Answered so many questions at once... FL not exactly beginner friendly if you're used to normal sheet music software - but it is intuitive

...but how do you get the patterns into piano roll? Spent a month so far dicking around with MIDI and I still cannot get notes from FL KEY 37 or my synth to show up in piano roll as MIDI notes? Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried many different solutions with no success.

fruity is a good producing program for beginners or pro i use it my self if u kno how to actually produce. music u Should have no problem. my only issue is when u add to many elements beats begin to crack but once u master them its a fresh instrumental

How to drag anyone know

CTRL+B does not work with FL Studio 9 for everyone that's bashing about it. This method works and so does CTRL+A, CTRL+C, move ahead of that bar you just made and press CTRL+V.

What I see a lot of producers do is dragging their mouse over an area to select specific notes to move or reproduce, and not having to click on the select tool first. How does that work?

No body do it the right way, just control A or select what you want to duplicate the selection with Ctrl+B. You can do Ctrl+B as many time you want in a row.

or just use ctrl+b

Is this what you're after? You can also go to the Channel Rack and right click the channel you are using, say Piano Grand and then mouse over to Copy and then right click the other channel, say DSK Nylon Guitar and paste and there we are, all added to the other instrument :)

Man, just press Ctrl+B
