Image-line it's rose-covered gas mask I've been rocking fruity Fire Edition for 3 years.. Cuz I got the controller and it's tangible I can hold it.. makes me feel like I own it... I want all plugins Edition.. So so badly.. Is there such a thing as like a USB hard copy.. So I actually feel like I own it... Also is there like a FL studio Bible... like a real book of everything... So many blessings image-line and to the fl-studio family.... 🥀🥀🙏🥀🥀

FL Studio has some of the most sophisticated plugins you could think of. Learning to use these plugins is almost like learning an additional instrument!

Seems over complicated, I understand the outcome is a good adn unique sound, but getting there is a long road. Its hard to imagine this being practical, I feel i'd lose my flow before i got the sounds I wanted.

If you are into sound design it is very flexible if you just want a filter there are other options but then it can be very simple if you only use it as a basic filter too. 😄

@@ovnimoon Didn’t went on to do it in the Daw yet, busy week, but pause the video and copy the settings, try presets and then do it by ear is always the key ✌️ Had to check back, but watch the small window in the right bottom corner, it switches with the different types they show, have to check Philter but I’m pretty sure you can type em or at least tweak until you have the same/similar code/sentence 🥳 ^assuming you got similar material/samples to use on 😂

It's certainly one of the best plugins, but I never see anyone use it! Thanks for this video, a great refresher with great demos and editing.

Yeah, I agree that it's good, but tbh I think the reason it's underused is that it's a little redundant for most good plugins - since they usually have all this functionality already built into them rather than being on a separate effect plugin. (Sytrus, Harmor, Serum, PhasePlant, Vital, etc.) That being said, it's definitely good if you're using a plugin that doesn't have this functionality built-in, and you might wanna use it anyway if you prefer the UI and layout of Love Philter. I can think of one plugin I would use Love Philter with at least, which would be Fruity Granuliser, but outside of that I don't usually find it to be needed. I think the big thing about Love Philter that goes unnoticed is its allpass filter, because allpasses may be subtle and hard to notice initially, but they are insanely powerful and important to use imo. afaik I think Love Philter is the only FL-Native plugin with an allpass filter, which is a big deal - it's just it's so hidden away. Me personally, even as someone who gets into the very technical side of sound design and reads through the manuals of most of the plugins I use to see if I can find any unique ways to manipulate the sound, I went years without even knowing allpass filters existed - I never knew that FL had one in Love Philter until after I'd already been introduced to them through KiloHearts' Disperser, and by that time of course Disperser had already become my go to allpass filter.

Never thought this one was that complex. Btw, dear IL, I think it's time to update some 'fundamental' plugins like ParamEQ2, Fruity Limiter etc. We'd really have to love to have stock FL plugins with M/S, dynamic EQ & compression etc.

Oh look, it's my favourite filter/gate plugin ever.

Its crazy how long I've used Love Philter and only known about 20% of what its capable off! Excited to dive back in with this newfound knowledge!

Thanks. This is great. I've always suspected this was super powerful but never got beyond the presets. So much power in FL when you take time to learn it.

Fruity Love Filter - my favourite plugin, on a par with Fruity Parametric EQ 2 and Fruity Reeverb 2.

Over the years Ive fired this plugin up a good few times, looked at it and thought not today, thanks for the vid this plugin is way more powerful than I had imagined

This has got to be the most slept on plug in I've ever seen.

This series really brings me down from always wanting to buy new VST's because "I need them to make better music" to the basics I need to learn.

This plugin could be better if the GUI would clarify its functions. Also the number of presets is pretty limited so I wasn't aware of a lot of the capabilities.

thats my go to manopulation plugin when it comes to Sounds, Melodies etc.

I really love the philter (pun intended), especially that we can automate the envelope patterns!! But, I really wish we could set a "decay" option in the envelope break points, not only 'loop' and 'sustain' 11:26 because sometimes I make a pattern that isn't in "tempo" mode and I don't want it to loop, but when I pause, then resume the playback of my project, love philter resumes from the point it stopped at before the pause and not from the start of the envelope. I really hope someone understands this issue Anyways, It's an amazing plugin overall!

I dont know for Love Philter, but I encountered the same issue with grossbeat, solved it by creating automation clips that trigger the plugin on/off setting on the fx-rack on the mixer, on/off effectively resets the "plugin-timer" so the next time it gets triggered it will start from your envelope from the beginning. I think this should work for LP too.

if you click the stop button located at the bpm-value multiple times it should reset every plugin to its starting positions, or right clicking the value thats troubling u and click the "init at this position" or smth like that, dont know if this will solve the problem but that has solved a lot of similar problems for me

Using Sytrus as my main synth, IL Love Philter always felt very intuitive. Still, I learned quite a few things about it here, many thanks IL

@@FL_STUDIO This is not convenient to use with many midi channels that are tied to a contact, for example. For example, I have 16 instruments in cotact, I create 16 midi, for each midi channel I can have about 7 articulations, and I have to run between these windows every time! It also visually enlarges the project, as there will be a controller under each midi! Is it really that hard to implement?
