34, so many years of listening to FKJ, Masego, Tush, Tom Misch. Never had enough, listening to this kind of music just blowing my mind with lots of good stuff. Music never gets old ❤

I’ve been listening to FKJ for nearly 10 years now (I still loveee his old DJ sets) and it’s been so cool to see his progression as an artist and multi instrumentalist/singer. I hope I get another decade+ of his music. Absolutely my favorite artist.

FKJ is a great artist but if your soul needs healing there's only one person who can truly heal you and that's Jesus Christ. My suggestion would be to Pray, read the Bible, and repent. Life will be much more clear and better after that I promise

It's puzzling how something so fresh feels so utterly familiar about this song. Like it had been there all along, I'd just never actually heard til now...

This is intense and otherworldly. So beautiful. We can each have different interpretations. I like to interpret it as a creature/ a shell only capable of moving when a human being is nearby and can only replicate soulless behaviours, things we do everyday without thinking (being on the phone, smoking etc) the creature started imitating the ballet dancer but then left when she kept dancing while looking at “it” because she put her “soul” in her movements. The creature then listened to FKJ and didn’t imitate him but listened because FKJ also does music with all his soul, he takes his time to create something. Him and the baller dancer both created something instead of repeating this mechanical behaviour we all have today in this capitalist society. (The creature was able to imitate FKJ when he was playing for money, this is also interesting). The creature started to have raw emotion, a soul on its own which resulted in its own dance without having to be near a human being. I interpreted the video like that because it made me think of a chapter from a manga I really love, called Mushishi. Sorry if it wasn’t clear :( English isn’t my first language.

My first watch this is what came: the expression of the untrained shaman within us all feeling the contrast of the inner sacred and the outer world of separation... At times finding the magical moments of connection. Also, I see the dancer as the shaman in the æthers of our world... Swirling around everywhere at all times. A schizophrenic vibe for sure. So beautiful, brought me to tears and chills up and down watching this and hearing the music. Epic ArT!!!!!👏👏🙌🙏

You're absolutely right, he has a very recognisable touch, be it in his production, his arrangements or his sax/piano playing. That's when you know this is more than just a "really good" artist - he's a fucking genius. His "Tadow" video with Masego has almost half a billion views... we're talking about a mostly instrumental jazzy song, not a mainstream type of track. It says a lot about how impactful his music is and will still be in 20/30 years

Now that I think about it, maybe there actually aren't that many people who know the song Tadow, but the ones who do, have each played it 100's of times on YT, which would explain why it has so many views!

Las diferentes máscaras son las que usamos en la vida diaria, en los días que estamos felices, tristes, enojados o fascinados; entre otras muchas que usamos para esconder o expresar lo que sentimos. El concepto audiovisual es perfecto y la melodía te hace sentir - dependiendo tu estadonde ánimo- esas distintas máscaras que ponemos en distintos días. FKJ siempre demuestra que se supera con creces a si mismo con cada nueva melodía y álbum que saca. ¡Espectacular!

It's funny you brought that up, it reminds me of homeless ppl and also the tragic pandemic that is going on right now in many parts of Pennsylvania because of drugs. The video reminded me of the sad site of all those ppl standing stuck, leaning on things and doing crazy things.. might have something to do with it

Lo vi el 11 en Guadalajara fueeeeee el mejor concierto de mi vida ( he visto RHCP, Coldplay,madonna, vives latino , maldita vencidad infinidad de grupos) nada nada se compara la sinapsis que hacen mis neuronas , para encontrar el significado de lo que estoy escuchando y derrepente..... Pummmmm explosiones en mi cerebro no sabe que pasa pero lo disfruta como nunca había disfrutado algo termina y regreso a la realidad ...
