Every Enkei, Weds, or Volks wheels I ran, I never used center caps. But if you do no caps, at least paint the axle nuts and rear hubs flat black for rust prevention and looks

Do you know what’s the biggest tire I can put on my stock type R rims. I’ve seen a video that shows 35’s fit with no problem. I would love to know if it’s officially possible to do so without any rub issues or fitment. I appreciate any feedback so I can keep my original 20 inch rim with a bigger tire than what is only recommended a 30 side wall.

Just ordered michelin pilot sport 4 myself. Sticking with the 20" though. Only got 2 summers out of the stock continentals sport contact 6. How you liking them pilots??

So I see that a +35 offset works perfect what was the backspacing you went with. I really want to get a perfect fitment like this so I don’t end up rubbing on my Type r when turning. Really love the car and content please keep it coming!

Center caps to keep the dirt off the hub nut

Those wheels look real nice Mike, for me personally I would go with centre caps. One question (probably a stupid one) but won't changing the wheel size (diameter) put the Speedo out of calibration or have you changed the tyres profile to compensate, I had this problem many years ago when I fitted bigger wheels on my car but lowered the tyres profile to compensate. You are right John. It will be slightly off if the total diameter is different. With the wheel and tire we went with, it is pretty close to stock but not 100%.

You don’t rub? I’m on 9.5+45 18s with 255/40 and I’m rubbing in the rear and i don’t want to go back to 35 because the Speedo was off and also got horrible mpg.
