I'm not because that EK9 is almost stock, So unfair lol it had no chance, Put the Seeker EG6 or the k-shift CRX something like that would fair better. That FK only managed if i remember correctly a 28;8 something with the Touge course sector. not fast lol. The dori ae86 I think was faster and that's no where near the Seeker eg6 level..

The older model has much nicer styling and more impressive engine. 300hp from 2ltr turbo is not ground breaking but 185hp from NA 1.6 is amazing even now.

It may be heavier, but it does have a wider set of tires to compensate with the additional grip to the added weight. 😉

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines. And on top of that, he just went into Harry's and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS... and a Motec system and exhaust.

EK9は自分が乗った唯一のtypeRだけど好きだったなぁ。^^ ブレーキ踏むのギリギリまで我慢してからのフルブレーキングで舵角一杯までステアリング切るとタックインを起こしテールスライドも起こして曲がってくれる。動作的にコンマ何秒の事だけれど無駄に気持ち良くって再び次のコーナーに向けてアクセル全開なんていう遊びがどうにも楽しかった最高の1台でしたよ。^^
土屋さんは古い車ではなく、魂のこもった車が似合うのです。
土屋さんのオーバースピードからの慣性Fドリw カッコいい! 何が何でもついて行きたい気持ちが伝わってきますね!
おちゃらけたとはいってもオリダーのドリキンへのメッセージは感慨深いものがありますね。

笑いながらサーキット攻めるとか凄い
社会人3年目 ドリドリとガンさんのek9の下克上見て憧れて必死にお金を貯めて10万キロ越え130万の車体購入した 乗れば乗るだけ壊れて毎月修理してチューニングなんて運良く壊れなかった月しかできない維持を一年続けてる 走行会行っても自分じゃ初心者のインプとかランエボについて行くのがやっと… 正直貯金切り崩しながら乗っていて心が折れかけてた でもこの動画でドリドリがこんなに頑張ってくれてek9褒めてくれてうちの子が褒められてるようで嬉しかったし俺自身も肯定されてるようで嬉しかった 東堂塾はとうふ屋に負けちゃったしドリドリも2リッターターボには勝てなかったけど ホンダが本気で作ったこの車でドリドリの言っていたライバルの2リッターターボに勝ちたいってまた思うことが出来た ドリドリありがとう!

Most fun. Type R brings out the racing driver in you. It was cheap and reliable enough to fling and take risks going flat out.

ek9はあの時代だとノーマルでチューンされてる様な物だったからな
今のホンダも良いと思いますが、この時代のホンダは特に良いクルマ作りをしてたなと感じます。デザインも、クルマとしてのコンセプトも、ホンダに思い出して欲しいです。

EK9、履いてるタイヤがちっとかわいそう… 素のままの1.6だと日光だときつそうだし、 でもあのオーバーステア傾向、それを求めて私もホンダに乗り換えたクチだから あの世代のホンダはやっぱいいって思えてしまう。 ケツ出たらアクセルオン、純正デフでも絶妙なロック率で引っ張っていける ドライバーを育てるマシンです ギア比もEKはちと甘かったけど、dc2が最高でした 数字としての馬力より 繋がるギア比。 本当 ホンダに乗って学んだ数年だった

昔は、筑波のRAPで1分切り目指して開発してただけにテクニカルセクション重視の設計でしたが、今はニュルのように中高速区間の続くコース重視の設計のため名前は同じであれど全然違う車になりましたね。

FK2シビックRのタイヤは、コンチネンタルのスポーツコンタクト6よりかは、ヨコハマのADVANかなぁ〜。でも…EK9に17インチは合わないね。15〜16インチだったらまだ分かる。
The first One is without Turbo so They are not equal ! Add a turbo to it and replay this race.

ホンダのターボはF1では高性能で有名だったんだけどねぇ。 タイプRは前の型の性能を上回らなければ出さないとか開発陣がコメントしてましたが 性能だけみるならありなんじゃないかなって思います どっち買うかって言われたら俺はEK9だなぁ

vtecターボで武装して世界基準の速さという新しい挑戦をしているのだなとは思いますがシビックはもう国内市場をあまり見てないのかな…という気分でちょっと寂しくもありますね。フィットかグレイスあたりに200万前半くらいでtypeRだせば売れる気もしますw 方向性としてはスイスポやアルトワークスみたいに速さはそこそこ安価で楽しい車を作って欲しい気もしますね、RSでは少し物足りない感はあるので。
