FJ45 Landcruiser Restoration | 79 Series Bonnet Scoop Transplant | Episode 20

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Jafffa Adventures continues the 40 Series Landcruiser restomod series.
The restoration of my Toyota Landcruiser FJ45 continues. In my last video, I fit the 79 Series Landcruiser tub, the results of which you can see in Episode 19.
In this episode I begin to transplant a 79 Series bonnet scoop onto the bonnet of my FJ45.
This is the 20th video in this Landcruiser restomod series, so if you have found this topic interesting, I suggest you check out the other videos.
The full series can be found in my Landcruiser 40 series playlist.

Ouch but thanks for showing. Not because we all need to be careful around moving stuff. But because you make me feel normal! And the very authentic Australian first aid rendered forthwith! Keep’em coming Terry.

Cheers mate. Once I’m into a project it’s sucks to stop, so a little patch up keeps one going until I could sook a bit later😉😎

Good decision to keep the front plastic trim piece. It finishes the scoop nicely, and retains its OEM look and not a cheap DIY knockoff.

Bugger!! You've shown it all this time Terry (blood & guts & all! 😂) I was only thinking last night after watching a video of a couple of years ago, it's about time for more 45 stuff & here we have it!! I'm glad you went he route of completely stripping the bracing. I did the same on my V8 40 shorty all those years ago, the rust certainly loves those braces behind the skin. I somehow knew your where going to leave us hanging..... but, the all important "Thinking Fluid" is often required on these kinds of jobs, that's for sure 😉So until next week, I'll help too!🍻🍻 Cheers!
