Technical, well-insulated down jacket for trekking and ski touring in winter conditions.
Made from light, recycled polyamide with fluorocarbon-free DWR.
Padded with premium-quality ethically produced goose down distributed in two offset layers that eliminate heat loss.
Reinforced with synthetic padding over the shoulders and double layers of fabric on the hood, shoulders, lower sleeves and torso for extra durability.
Can be highly compressed to take up little (Not really though) space in a backpack.
Technical, well-insulated down jacket packed with practical features for reliable functionality during winter activities. Insulated baffles keep warmth in and suspenders let you keep the jacket “on” without using the sleeves - to make sure it doesn't blow away in windy conditions. 100% recycled polyamide. Pliant, wind- and water-resistant fabric. Padded with high-quality ethically produced down. Brick-layer down channel construction eliminates heat loss. Extra synthetic padding on the shoulders and lower arms. Double layers of fabric on the shoulders, hood, cuffs and rear. Inside reinforced against wear from a climbing harness. Insulated baffles in the collar, cuffs and hem. Adjustable hood with room for a helmet. Detachable suspenders with elastic attachments. Robust zipper with inside protective flap and press buttons. Two chest pockets and two hand pockets. Inside pocket and spacious storage pockets. Velcro at sleeve cuffs and drawcord adjustment at hem. Comes with a repair kit.

it's quite something indeed! You'll never be cold but you need a lot of space for it. Black Friday is coming up so maybe you'll be able to score something then :)

Hei.I used in Norway in -30 C on the ekspedisjon , hold varm very good .But I will said that’s to warm jacket for 0 or -10 , For that temp it’s Expedition pack down jacket .Those model it’s best for over -20C

Thank you. Just bought it and I wanted to know what I have to expect. I think I made with this buy a overkill because in Switzerland it is between -5 and -8 cold. Better warm than freezing!

Yeah it might be overkill indeed. You can still use it for more static activities, but when you start moving it will get hot. Not a lot of people have this jacket I think so curious about your thoughts after you’ve used it a bit! Let me know! Cheers!

Hi Ton, how is the jacket after 1 year of use? Was it too hot for most days in Switzerland?

@@markl6567 the jacket is great. but it was definitely too warm, because on the hill we only had maybe -1 degree. But its pretty nice that u have the feature to pull off the jacket but it is still on your back.. do you know what i mean? it looks kind of stupid if u are skiing with this style but i like it

@@tonan8606 yeh I understand. It’s a great looking jacket, but maybe too warm for me. I am in Denmark so we get maybe -10 during mid winter, but that’s quite rare. Think I will look at a slightly less insulated one. Thanks for the info!

@@OutdoorPrep It's all fucked up! +16 in Belgrade yesterday. I have the Down Parka no 1 as well, but needed a more daily use....guess I have to move to the Arctics now! :) Happy New Year!

@@ruek66I just found one of the last XS of this Down Jacket, and am considering buying perhaps the last XS Down Parka No. 1 in the world that I’ve found. What are your impressions of both? I need warm jackets for very cold temperatures when I am not moving much, stuck outside, & want to be able to shed it and carry it on my back if I go inside temporarily.

@@Jclicky Well, like you write the Expedition Down Parka no 1 and the Keb Expedition Down Jacket are 2 different things, I have both. Both are extremely well done, so it comes down to your intended usage. Let me try to put it like this, they are both done for very cold days, I would grade the Parka for extreme cold (-15C and below in windy conditions for hours), the Jacket for -5C and below and colder, as well as shorter periods of staying out standing still. However this depends on your activity, I as a photographer in the Arctic doesn’t move around to much so the Parka is my choice for long hours. Cold to very cold normal city life (-5C and way below), the jacket is just great. The outer material is very soft and nice. The Parka is VERY bulky even packed, but it’s also one of a kind….if you are doing some hard activity in modest cold {-15C to 0C I don’t recommend it, it gets VERY warm. Both have this harness for you to hang them on your back if needed. PARKA = Extreme cold and windy. JACKET = Very Cold/windy and up to 0C . Not sure if this helps you….:(
20 minutes in the rain it was soaked . why all the external stiching . the kryos had 600 .and is internally stiched full gore tex

Well... the temperatures this jacket was designed for do not have rain anymore... Have you looked at Nuuk Parka?
