why not use parallels? it has GPU acceleration.

So, fun fact: if you go to download windows 10 from Microsoft's site on a mac, they'll give you an iso to download instead of the utility

They generally do that on anything that doesn't report Windows NT in the Browser User Agent (so also on Linux or Windows with a User Agent Add-on in the Browser).

When I get to 'preparing automatic repair' when it comes to 'choose an option' it won't allow me to select one. Why the hell not?? Its like the keyboard stops working at that point 😔

Actually there is one way to prevent the boot loop, when Windows is installed it has the option to automatically restart when there is a system failure ticked, if you untick that then all Windows will do is go to a blue screen with a STOP error. This is assuming that the system failed with a STOP error in the first place.

I love the new intro! And the new design and everything about it!

I love how I turn on my computer to have a windows problem well watching this😂

When I bought my first Macbook Pro back in 2012, I wanted to run Windows on my Mac... I couldn't get it to work for the life of me. My Mac just didn't want it to run. So I gave up. Maybe I got a faulty Parallels program. Either way, I bought an inexpensive PC and have two different computers. Works well. Just recently upgraded to an iMac on Black Friday. Absolutely love it.

My sister takes less time to get ready than Windows.

Lesson learned from this video: you can talk to computers using the command prompt

I always fix my copy of windows on my mac from a Hirens Boot CD using MiniXP, its a great option to repair most problems, even if the partition is so corrupt that it can't be repaired/read from the mac partition, you can still acces everything through hirens and miniXP

macOS cannot be downgraded. You would need to erase the volume and perform a new installation.

Its not about the os its the ssd and cpu is doing a calculation make sure everything is fine if is not good part than it wont boot

I had the same issue. Turns out it had old broken updates that couldn't finish installing. Ended up loading a live linux then digging into the file system and deleting the update files.

Could someone help me when I go to load boot camp it runs and then says updating then prompts me with we couldn’t complete updated undoing changes then boots to Mac OS please someone help

MACBOOK PRO 13inch early 2011 : no super drive (used it for 2nd ssd to run windows partition) :BIOS: UEFI audio drivers does not work, I have tried everything from redownloading bootcamp support software, trying different versions. To installing realtek, it does not recognize the circus hardware: let me know if there is a fix for this. Thanks guys

F8 doesn't work on windows 10 anymore, the key hasn't worked since windows 8 to get to the advanced boot options.

You can access the options by holding shift before clicking restart.

I had a very similar issue after doing a fresh install of the FCU and using VMWare's Bootcamp option. It sometimes boot loops, but if I force it to shut down and try again, it usually manages to reach the desktop.

I never watched this because I put it for later but then I realized that this video might be useful for fixing MY bootcamp installation where windows always boots into recovery mode. I'll hope for the best. Edit: alright got it thanks

(some sort of) clarification: This is most likely a setup problem. As far as I'm aware, this text is only visible after the "Getting ready" text disappeared on the first boot. Don't know what it's doing there, but I suppose it has something to do with any updates that were installed manually or automatically by Windows.

Yep it also goes into BIG spinny mode which happens when windows is setting stuff up.

I'd like to be able to install windows boot camp but not as a hidden thing on the end of a mac partition, but in its own real partition, as recovering the hidden boot camp partition on a failing drive is very difficult.

HI Krazy Ken! My old Laptop is broken, and now i wanna fix it. I kinda wanna try the same as you did here. The Problem is that, it doesn't recognize the Hard Disk anymore, so it boots up Windows Recovery. Should I try booting up from a DVD/CD with an ISO File and do the same? The feren OS Dev if you watched the video, he says in the beginning that the update didn't break the system. It worked fine after the update, but something after that happened that made it stop working. Plus feature updates (like anniversary and creators update) to Windows 10 typically improves the experience because, unlike patch Tuesday's monthly cumulative updates, they don't update certain files but they do a full system install and then migrate your files, standard settings, and apps. These tend to fix registry corruptions, missing system files, and resets obscure settings back to defaults, meaning that you go in a fresher state. Finally, the feature updates clear up all temporary files, update leftovers from previous patches, and old driver reminents, clearing up gigabytes of space. There are minor disadvantages to this clean upgrade approach: some settings go back to their defaults, in the past that included file associations and default apps, but this has since been fixed, tweaks and hacked system files get reset, and that's a good thing unless you knew what you were doing and were a system molder. You have to rehack the system and mod from scratch. But if you can mod once, you can mod again. But as you can see, the twice a year feature updates clean up your system and keep them free with new and cleaner system files. So a 3 year old install of Win10 is in an order of magnitude in a better shape than a 3 year old Win7 install.

Danu Chitan first of all, you can't complain when you pirate software. If you pirate it, you can have no expectation of support from the company. Secondly, of all versions of Windows, why would anyone even crack Windows 10. Windows 10 can be installed without typing in a product key and the only limitation you will have is a watermark and some personalization features disabled. Unlike Windows 7, Windows 10 can be used indefinitely without activating. Just don't any product key during clean install. Also, Windows 10 will activate with a Windows 7 or 8 product key. So if you have one of those, that should also work.

Idk if it’s only me but I’m on Mac and I booted to windows 10 and my audio dosent work it just says like Audio not installed

It does a virtual drive and syncs with Bootcsmp. Parallels is so slow on my 32gb i7 iMac that it’s unusable.

at 18:54 i went through frame by frame and for like 3 frames you can see in all four corners it says safe mode, then goes away immediately. So it’s getting to that login/desktop screen like Brent said, but it’s getting interrupted by something and forcing a restart.

Theres one way to get into advanced boot options without hitting F8: Turn on the computer, as soon windows tries to boot, shut it off and repeat it. After the second failed boot windows should automatically start the automatic boot repair with the option to launch safe mode

you can force reinstall Windows from the command prompt and have the ethernet cable on or just reset

Well I fixed the same issue on my bosses ThinkPad. Turned out that an update went wrong. I couldn't get the automatic repair screen even with interrupting the boot (maybe because I wasn't able to press the power button for long enough, NVMe SSDs are that fast), but was able to boot a usb stick and there was a "Select another boot device" option or something like that and there were three options the first had no name and a window as icon and the other two were labeled "Windows 10". The third one worked so I used bcdedit to set it as default and the system worked fine again. But I see you only have one Windows 10 option. I'd have gone for a reinstall on the same drive which usually leaves apps and programs on the drive. Just do an install on the same drive and don't format.

My computer recently broke and it was one of the most powerful machines that I have. I am going to get a new one, but I have to wait for a while. :(

That blue to black screen thing is what my macbook pro 2012 did because I don't think windows was expecting such did hardware.

I installed macOS Catalina on a Lenovo PC. But i accidentally installed macOS over Windows. But the RTL8188CE WIFI card wont work on macOS, so i had to reinstall Windows through a kindle

Here is an easy way: 1. Power shutdown Mac as soon as Windows logo appears. 2. Start again and power shutdown again as soon as windows logo appears. 3. When you start for third time then you will get automatic recovery option below the Windows logo which will take you to a lot of options like reset this pc, use system restore and rest options. You can choose from there. You don't require an ISO for this small troubleshoot.

My last PC ended up in a boot loop and I couldn't fix it. It was quite an old Laptop. Literally 7 years old the day the boot loop began. Seeing some of this I can probably fix it now and recover the old files, putting them on my newer laptop. If someone is to use the old laptop, I would say to use it for browsing the web, sending emails, or using office. Running games on it already uses a lot of that power and it was the same when it came to animating so I'm much happier with the laptop I have now when it comes to what I use it for.

Izzmations 2005 laptop i use and photoshop runs good windows 10 too camtasia studio 8 works good too and animations on 720p no problem and the best way to recover files is to get the hdd out and use a sata to usb

Apple’s displays are really good at not flickering to the eye or on camera. I wasn’t even shooting my shutter in sync with display’s refresh rate, but it still looked good.

Why not download Tuxera (ntfs drive for mac). Makes you also able to repair ntfs partitions from within Mac OS.

to get to recovery mode: turn on and turn off while booting do this 2-3 times if you see this screen: You're good to go!

And a book on programming my mom got a while ago says it's not a bug it's a feature. Lol I still can't stop laughing at this

To fix windows you need to back to your command prompt and type: bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /rebuldbcd and then restart your computer. It will boot for sure. Works 100%. I fixed my computer with these commands!

Since Macbook using UEFI... you can't use that Command Anymore... You can use that Command if you using BIOS Legacy

Did you try turning it off and on again?

You can download the Windows 10 FCU ISO file, you need to turn mobile view on and refresh.

Good food in fridge, you stocked up.

When you have this problem (Happen to me serval times) you can check the log file (SrtFile in most case) and replace the corrupt files that are marked in the log

I had that problem with parallels , you have to boot it up in parallels and do a proper shut down and restart into the real windows partition

The issue is he can't get parallels to work either

At the restarting point it FAILED show Ing a BSOD, this is very rare that it fail loading a bsod ans Normaly in this case its INACCESIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (its just a theory)

My PC did this same thing to me I reinstalled windows and then it did it again a week later. I think it has something to do with a recent windows update.

Dealed with this issue before, it's a missing critical file. Windows panics and reboots over and over. Try moving a new copy from a Windows 10 Install Disc.

LukePlayzz that only happend on vista on 7 in 8 and later when you turn it off and on pussing for a long time power button it goes to normal mode and dosent appear the advanced options anymore

For me windows start havign the same problem that you have after installing Bootcamp windows supports which installs the drivers

Windows 10 just seems to really hate multiboot systems. Windows 10 does this crap on my Ubuntu dual-boot system. If you use installation media, there's actually a way to reinstall Windows while keeping most of your programs and settings.
