Great vid. I'm from America and I'm a carpenter as well. I enjoy watching a fellow carpenter get to it. Respect 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Always nice to know the government helped you out that day - not, the amount you have to pay them you would think they were there with you helping

So nice to find someone who doesn't use/have every Festool tool under the sun ... nice job as well mate.
Crazy to see the plumbing being ran so close to the floor, here in the US you almost never see that, just leaves so little room for error when you're doing repairs or installing something into the floor. Nice work!
I'm going to start a carpentry business one day, and you're helping me visualise my dreams, Thank you
Watching you is inspiring
You really have had a rough start to the year mate hopefully it gets better 👍
Nice video bud 👍 smaller jobs defo pay more it’s just linking them together so you don’t have gaps in the diary that’s the trick.
I love your videos! I started apprenticing 26 years ago as a carpenter, now self employed for basically 15 years. I say all that to say this, you are a mighty fine carpenter, and teacher to the young guys. Thanks for sharing your journey as a self employed carpenter, what it takes to be one. I have learned a lot of little tricks myself, from you. Cheers.
Nice to see you back T, love the content, you are an amazing trusted worker.
Missed your videos good to see you back👍
I know nothing about carpentry, but it's still fascinating to watch a competent person work. Also, props for protecting the privacy of the kid.

Free courses at some local colleges. I can fit a kitchen and flooring from being self taught. But I am going to night school September to do my level 2 free of charge was prepared to pay £851 for the course and that will provide you with good skills from flooring to stairs to roof work.

Nice man good prices
Well done, do save some of that dosh
Looking good :D
Not going to lie, I missed not seeing your videos for a while.
Made that floorboard job look easy! I'm not a joiner but recently tackled mine (they are P5 T&G Floorboards) and it took me just under 3 days. I went a bit overboard though, noggins into every joist for extra support and glue along with floorboard screws. Squeak free but a difficult job - asked 3 joiners and none wanted to do it!

You taking piss lol
Great job. I have a pair of them blue shoes as well, great minds. haha.
Even though ive checked for pipes, i still get so paranoid before every screw i put through the floorboard lol
Did you consider also using glue before laying down the floor in regards to the squeeking?
Let’s go
Keep to the smaller jobs pal easier and u can fit more in a day and get paid straight away.
@10:00 its risky fixing them like that not knowing whats under there haha! good video

My thoughts exactly was watching through my fingers 😂 once bitten will soon learn
Can you show us how to do some projects and framing 😎
How are you getting on with the saw? I know that a lot of us trades feel like we have to "fit-in" with our tool selections.
Hi how are you doing today and having a great day today
👏👍👌❤️
What brand is your sliding bevel mitre saw, can you do a future review on the product, pros and cons, Thanks, Start of the always Rough, stay 💪

I’m a carpenter/joiner I’m 25 years young I have been doing it around 7 years now My advice is to go all out on an apprenticeship and don’t be scared to fail and make mistakes because it is the most valuable part of this industry You hear it all the time but it couldn’t be more true!
I've been fitting fire doors with a complete pleb who says he knows how to fir them even though I'm FIRAS registered
Man you’re a good carpenter but you gotta get off that floor ! Even a cheap stand will do ! You are crushing your back , knees ect.,. When you get my age 65 you gonna be crippled! I still work everyday as a finish carpenter/ cabinet builder and do not deal with to many issues. Us blue collar craftsman need to work some thru our life’s! I was immediately chastised by a vet carpenter when caught on the floor and told I look like a troll of some weird person who was totally unaware how I was trashing myself? That’s it I never was on the floor again ! ( obviously in a pinch or emergency I was). Get off that floor bro ! U always do that!
Not much luck mate
No dewalt ???

You got a lot of bollocks putting that many screws in with the pipes so close to the top of the joists🤣

May of looked under boards when they were up? thats what i would of done with the help of a torch.
Promo SM
so much crap under the floor, bent pipes, jeez trades people are really dirty, and generally unskilled. This guy is OK, but cuts corners.
Not you again what a boring jobs worth no one in there right mind buys materials like that
Great work, personally I never screw down the middle of floor boards (even if it"s possible) I always screw outer edges because good plumbers always run their pipes down the centre of the boards, also find it better to make the timber supports longer so they are supported by two or three boards rather than just one
