Crazy to see the plumbing being ran so close to the floor, here in the US you almost never see that, just leaves so little room for error when you're doing repairs or installing something into the floor. Nice work!

I love your videos! I started apprenticing 26 years ago as a carpenter, now self employed for basically 15 years. I say all that to say this, you are a mighty fine carpenter, and teacher to the young guys. Thanks for sharing your journey as a self employed carpenter, what it takes to be one. I have learned a lot of little tricks myself, from you. Cheers.

Free courses at some local colleges. I can fit a kitchen and flooring from being self taught. But I am going to night school September to do my level 2 free of charge was prepared to pay £851 for the course and that will provide you with good skills from flooring to stairs to roof work.

Made that floorboard job look easy! I'm not a joiner but recently tackled mine (they are P5 T&G Floorboards) and it took me just under 3 days. I went a bit overboard though, noggins into every joist for extra support and glue along with floorboard screws. Squeak free but a difficult job - asked 3 joiners and none wanted to do it!

Man you’re a good carpenter but you gotta get off that floor ! Even a cheap stand will do ! You are crushing your back , knees ect.,. When you get my age 65 you gonna be crippled! I still work everyday as a finish carpenter/ cabinet builder and do not deal with to many issues. Us blue collar craftsman need to work some thru our life’s! I was immediately chastised by a vet carpenter when caught on the floor and told I look like a troll of some weird person who was totally unaware how I was trashing myself? That’s it I never was on the floor again ! ( obviously in a pinch or emergency I was). Get off that floor bro ! U always do that!

Great work, personally I never screw down the middle of floor boards (even if it"s possible) I always screw outer edges because good plumbers always run their pipes down the centre of the boards, also find it better to make the timber supports longer so they are supported by two or three boards rather than just one
