Been watching you since you had the e87. As a person who works in a body shop, these builds are more and more entertaining to watch. Love everything you do. Great to watch someone achieve so much knowledge about body work and mechanic work mostly by himself working in a garage at home. The energy is real. Keep it up man, you're one of a kind.

Hey Mat, that line on the intake you arent sure of is related to the PCV. You will need to get it otherwise your PCV valve will get clogged much quicker than it should

Unplugging things is a great way to diagnose problems. My car was running terribly lately misfiring, loads of smoke, and randomly cutting out, but whenever I'd unplug something, like the MAF, MAP, or EGR, it would run fine, so I knew it wasn't anything catastrophic wrong with the engine. And when you know that's the case you feel a lot better. Mine turned out to just be a sticking EGR valve, but it took me a while to believe it because I took it off and cleaned it and all the mechanics and electrics seemed to work fine, but the problem was still there. It wasn't until I blocked it off with a blanking plate, made from the lid of a tin of beans, that the car ran right again.

The only rebuild channel that is consistent, Thank you Mat!

Hope my comments on the previous videos helped in identifying the Camshaft Adjuster Magnets as the problem, I had to change mine fairly early on in ownership of my S3 8V. (it also helped with the auto stop / start and made that much smoother in operation). Glad you got it sorted.

The point you made about the anti theft capabilities of air ride is excellent what with the theft of wheels and catalytic converters being so common nowadays. If they made the control box with Touch ID then it would make a car very difficult to steal.

I mean, it's a win-win situation, since your community can easily get in touch with you, and also, you get to ask people for help, in case you need some. This way, everyone learns more. Cool content tho.

Hey Matt, amazing content, like it!!! I have changed myself the magnetic senzor and there is a small improvement in regards to rough idle but great idea. Anyway, on tfsi the reason for rough idle seems to be unknown to the mechanics from audi. Good luck with your projects and waiting for the next ones.

Airlift performance airride is the best I tried. I had it on my facelift A6 C7 and it’s amazing. Just that you can adjust the dampening is a huge plus. I tried bilstein airride before and it’s horrible .

I really admire your determination at getting these projects complete - I really wish I had your patience! I've never got the appeal of the "slammed" look personally, but I think air ride ultimately is a pretty cool mod.
