So did you know you are one name famous- like Cher? Was watching yesterday’s Dig,Plant,Water,Repeat and she did a really nice private garden tour that a young lady did by herself including building a wonderful shed from scratch. Towards the end Janey asked her who taught her to garden in such a neat way and she sort of said, my mom did a liberal and some friends and then we kind of shouted, “Laura, Laura taught me to garden” and Janey laughed ad said. “Yes, of course, Laura has taught us all to garden!” We all like how you teach us to garden in really a relaxed way. It won’t always be perfect-so just enjoy the journey even the mistakes and failures, and change what you do whenever you want to.

I love that you show the good, the bad, and the ugly. We all have plants that need to be repotted, and plants that die and need to be replaced and somehow it makes you feel better about it when even The Queen of Gardening herself is dealing with it. Which got me thinking....Do you realize what an inspiration you are to literally thousands of new gardeners? You have taught so many of us how to take care of our plants and gardens. There are so many more gardening channels on KZread now that very clearly learned everything they know from you (they do everything just like you!) and I know you don't watch anyone else on KZread so you probably have no idea the ripple effect you have caused. It's really quite amazing, and you guys should be so proud of what you have accomplished with Garden Answer. I know personally you (and Jess from Roots and Refuge) have opened a door for me that I always told myself I wasn't good at. I've always had a small veggie garden and was just kind of meh with it. and I told myself I just had a brown thumb and wasn't really that good with any of it. Turns out I was just not good at putting the right plant in the right space. I live for gardening now and am actually kind of good at it. Who knew???? Lol Anyway, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting yourself out there and teaching us. I can imagine it's not always easy so I just hope you know how much it means to me and thousands of others! I broke my wrist a couple weeks ago and have been kind of down not being able to get out in my gardens like normal but it helps to have something gardening related to look forward to in the mornings. You make my day, and my gardens, brighter. Thank you, Garden Answer ❤️

"Small, consistent effort." Best advice ever. Wow, that's messy work. That fern looks so pretty there in its new pot. Look how green the foliage on that kumquat plant is - remember when Laura repotted it, it was yellowing quite a bit. So happy now - how great. The clematis on the trellis on the house is the fullest I remember seeing - so pretty. Oh my word! That heliotrope - so very beautiful, the foliage is gorgeous. I love the mini coleus. I haven't done well with ferns in the past, but I have moved to a new state, perhaps it's time to try again. I'm loving the Lamium in that one pot.

I’m loving your more southern looking containers! We use a lot of wire vine in the south and soft looking colors. Man those new deep purple heliotrope are stunning. 💜🩷💚

Oh my goodness your property is just dreamy. So beautiful. It just makes you smile and wish I was there strolling the land and enjoying all your hard work. Everything looked so gorgeous and what I love most about your videos is your human element side. I feel less of a failure when I know that even your plants struggle sometimes due to nature. The heat have destroyed one of my watermelons, and my Japanese maple tree. I love your videos. I watch them over and over again. Very relaxing. ❤ thank you so much for what you do! ❤

I love how you freshened up those containers! Looks like heliotrope would be somewhat deer resistant, so I’m going to look into that. Wire vine is definitely on my wish list for next year!

Beautiful ❤️. I cut the excess roots off of my asparagus ferns also. I love asparagus ferns. They are so versatile since they can handle full shade to full blistering sun. They also winter over great in my garage. Trim back to the soil and water once per month in the winter. Thanks for the great videos!

The galaway urn is my favorite mix of the day! Love the new cuphea. I will be looking for it next year. The wire vine allows you to see the beautiful urn. And you can never go wrong with heliotrope. I have started it from seed and it takes a while to get going. I have had them bloom all summer but they do get leggy so I’m looking forward to trying this heliotrope. Love these videos where it is a little of everything.

Hey gardeners! Hostas look great in containers but keep in mind they love mostly shade and water and based on that along with how big they get buy an appropriate size container and non porous one to fit the mature size, also keep it planted solo. Evergreens too.

These potted projects turned out so beautifully! Love that heliotrope! And the color combinations! I like the wire vine spiller. But for me, there is nothing better than sweet potato vines. Probably because it’s one thing that never fails for me that I can do myself. Have a wonderful week! 💚💚💚

I just have to tell you again, Laura, our mall here in Monterey, California, copies your style of plant coloring and texture all over the walkways! It’s so obvious what influenced them.
