Fixing Slipped Stitches - Spotting & Repairing Common Knitting Mistakes
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
When you slip a stitch, you move it from one needle to the other without working into it. Accidentally slipping a stitch is a very common knitting mistake. It will create what looks like an oddly large stitch on the knitside of your work, and an extra, loose loop on the purlside. Here I will show you how to fix an accidentally slipped stitch. I will also show you how I correct mistakes when working on the purlside.
You may want to pick up a crochet hook that is the same size or just a bit smaller than your knitting needles, since this can help you fix some common knitting problems. Here, I have been working on US No. 7 (4.5 mm) needles. I use a size "G" (4.0mm) crochet hook to correct my mistakes.
I am following my Basic Face Scrubby pattern, which you can find in my Simple Washcloth Knitting Pattern Collection, available here: purlsandpixels.com/product/si...
