I absolutely LOVE that you even went as far as Dawnstar for obscure lore! This is a great channel and sure to be one of the classics of the niche.

Personally, I feel like the Dark Anchor ruins still being around is very unlikely. It's been a thousand years since the events of ESO, surely you'd have people taking them apart in the mean time. If not for fear of Molag Bal's return, than to repurpose all that stone and metal, or to sell it to some conjuror or collector.

It's important to note that there's quite a bit of overlap with the Anniversary Edition and 4thUnknown's Morrowind Creatures and Daedra, since various Creation Club mods already add in Nix-Hounds and Dark Seducers, for example. Unless you want duplicates of existing creatures and Daedra, I'd advise downloading their own dedicated mods separately.

Morrowind Creatures has a patch that replaces the CC Nix-Hounds with the ones added by the mod.

@obrgrs2547 That's always an option, too. But I personally always use CC because otherwise, Todd Howard will strike me down for not using his perfectly balanced new content for his perfectly balanced game.

As with all mod showcases, always check the bug section to see if the conflicts are within your level of tolerance before installing.

Great video, this was an excellent idea, you should make more “Lore mods for Skyrim” videos. Its a highly underrated theme and quite overshadowed by the usual “top mods of the week” Skyrim YT content.

I don’t think you were necessarily going for this; but something I really appreciated here is that nearly all of these mods are available on Xbox. Some I even already use regularly. Love this vid. Keep up the great work.

I was looking at Ryn's Azura Shrine on Nexusmods and apparently there's a bug that will cause your character's saves to show up under 'all saves' instead of your character's name. I'm gonna hold off on that. Maybe it'll get fixed in version 1.3.

Racial body morph is simply the best mod on this list. Total game changer!

I came into this video expecting more of the same wannaba lore master BS that can't tell the difference between canon material and an ex writers stoned ramblings about what he wanted to write but was told he couldn't, more complaining about retcons that aren't really retcons, and thinking something is better lore because it's more bizarre or weird and as a result closes their mind to just how fantastical this universe can be... Instead I got a rational person who understands the source material, and minus a few exceptions are things I can't find any fault in, you earned my respect as someone who actually understands Elderscrolls lore and doesn't blindly believe the BS fake lore masters push.

Strictly speaking, it is likely that ancient nords _would_ have used ebony. The metal was ejected as far as High Rock (or according to myth, dripped from Lorlhan's heart as it was shot from High Rock to Vvardenfell, but it's hard to tell how much of myth is actual history in TES because it has both "myths" in the sense of religious stories that are made up or embellished and "myths" in the sense of true stories about actual gods and magic, so the alternative and convenient explanation that it is distributed when Red Mountain erupts must be considered), it's the blood of Lorkhan (Shor) and all the northern cultures seem to work with it and revere it. The versions of the weapons in Skyrim could sort of pass for Dunmeri but definitely have more nordic/breton ornamentation as well.

making a video on "fixing" skyrims lore continuity and starting with an ESO import mod is hilarious

the problem with some ESO imports is that somethings should been vanished like in vanilla after 947 years. like that Inn. there is no way that wood would survive that long in a good state if it was abandoned almost a millenium ago

Recommend Tamrielic Culture by the same guy as the oblivion artifact pack as well. Thats a good one!

I wish i had a pc so i could mid skyrim, these seem so cool, I've only played eso but i like that the lore of all the other games is added with these mods.

Have you though about doing vanilla plus overhauls for Skyrims faction quests ?

I know you've probably been asked this a lot, but I've gone through of couple of your previous vids and haven't found them. What are the mods that change the particle effects in your combat? I know Precision does the weapon trails, but I'm not sure about the particles when you hit enemies. I really liked the dust when you shot enemies with a bow, or the streaks of light for your weapon strikes when you hit an opponent with a sword. I also noticed the blood effects on enemies when you hit them popping a lot more.

Aw, I was hoping you'd include the "Great City of..." series, the "Cities of the North" series, "Nordic ruins of Skyrim", "Snowhawk expanded", as well as "Legendary cities - TES Arena", which all improve existing locations to match their lore, or even add ones that weren't originally included in Skyrim but exist in Arena or in lore.

"Oh yeah, this'll definitely help me immerse myself into Skyrim's world", I say as I have Eula from Genshin Impact as a follower.

I find it weird that every single draugr in a dungeon can be a deathlord draugr which can shout depending on player character level. the idea that a big chunk of ancient nord population being able to shout even though only a few select the "current" nords being able to, doesn't feel right. Also more over how is Ulfric can best dragonbord at shouting?

depending on how racial morphs was made, it might affect gameplay. Size affects speed (hence high elves move faster than other races in skyrim) and *can* affect damage

i know it affects speed but only very slightly but how can it affect damage?

@@redshift1 well, height doesn't affect damage (so in vanilla all races deal the same amount of damage) but scale does, so if different sizes is achieved by changing scale then dmg would be affected. like how the Ebony Warrior's increased height was achieved by scaling him by 1.25, increasing his damage slightly.

When it comes to creature mods, I think you should show off Mihails equivalents to 4thUnknown, where applicable. 4thUnknown looks good, but Mihails is better integrated and less buggy.

Bruh, mihail mods make a lot of changes in the worldspace or deleted references in sometimes or navmeshs. Also, the textures... 4th are less buggy, better and integrated to the world too.

@@urbonx You're thinking of the old mods, Mihails has gone under a bit of a quality renaissance. Most worldspace edits now are limited to hand placed enemies, and there are no deleted navmeshes in any that I have installed. (I have most of them installed) Texture / Model quality has skyrocketed.

I was so disappointed with the lack of Daedra in Skyrim when it released, and even more so that the Dremora just kind of look like Dunmers with face paint and horns, 4thUnknowns Daedra look so good!

I was waiting with bated breath during that whole thing with the enemies getting imported from Morrowind, Because I was fucking terrified at the prospect of a Skyrim level AI Cliff Racer. Shitting myself thinking about it like what the fuck would that even be like trying to fight? Horrible probably.
