As someone that's been producing for a while, but is still only just getting out of the "beginner stages", I love these videos cuz I can see where a lot of my mistakes correlate with the ones you're fixing and I can apply them to my beats more so than with some of the harder stuff, and they're super entertaining. My first beats didnt sound anywhere near this good :D But i made my first beats kinda before all these KZread tutorials and massive amounts of sample packs. Nowadays its too easy to make a simple beat... Just copy a KZread tutorial and replace the sounds with your own synths / samples.

@@cnk_music I do that sometimes, but I also do mostly heavy electronic music. I'd advise sampling out the sounds, especially if you use FL cuz it's so easy. I also mostly synthesize my own drums, and then add some samples for character. Mixing sounds like that makes eq'ing and stuff fairly important during the actual combining process. That's a lot of words just to say, layering drums is good, just as long as everything is in the right place
