Good vid, thanks. I also have a 530b 11m that we bought for our new build, saved so much work and labour! Their absolutely cracking machines, looking forward to seeing the next vid on it.

Thanks! Yes these machines are so useful. They are heavy no doubt, we have a personnel cage which my father and I built that we use quite alot. I have started filming the repairs to the rams but haven't finished the job yet! Thanks for watching,

I remember as a kid standing on the bar for dad to loosen lugnuts. That is King Kong & Godzilla tight.

Haha! Yes they were tight alright. I'm 18st and that was a 5 foot piece of box section steel!

They are great machines, heavy on the ground though if you're moving about the yard.

@@StevenRobertTaylor recon it could be a aluminium valve that has cracked on your tilt ram Steve

Would they not be steel blocks? Guess it is possible, I'm hoping it is an old hose end leaking or a blown seal on a bung or something easy to fix

That's very useful info to know thanks, will pay close attention when I get it out. We had the ram resealed years ago so seems to be all good around the rod seal

That's rust inside that planetary,,that's how long it's been since it had clean oil,,also it looks like there's no gaskets anywhere on it as well,,,it amazes me how people would rather pay many thousands of pounds to replace a part rather than spend 20 on new oil....

Yeh we should probably have changed the oil in them a long time ago. Will get the other side done soon on the next run of maintenance
