Fixing a Honda Met

If you GET a non-running Honda Metropolitan or Ruckus, here's a few helpful tips.
The Honda Metropolitans up through '09 share the front frame and engine with all years of the Ruckus. (So, most of this info applies to both bikes.) After 2009, the Metropolitan had two very different variations.. the outer body style remained basically unchanged, but underneath was a completely different bike.
Since the first generation Met shares so much with the very popular Ruckus, there are many more performance mods, and also more info in the community.

Kyle Hammer I figured.. I was trying to teach people to look for little differences.. but at 40 degrees, I probably just sound cranky. 😂

Lol thanks. Didnt take offense just wanted to give you some info on how that came to be lol. Dude you should have smelled the gas that was in there when I got it. It was caramel colored and smelled like something youd use in chemical warfare lol. The gas in there when you got it was from September I believe

Kyle Hammer did you buy a rebuild kit for the carb? Or just clean it.. I've heard the diaphragm spring is different on the MET2, but this one matches my Ruck.

@@GETlife yes but I don't think I changed any diaphragms, just the gasket and probably the jets
