In this video I show you a couple of Bush portable cassette players that were returned to Argos with the same faults.
Both had left the factory with their drive belts incorrectly installed and were easily restored to full working order.
A good indicator that it may only be the belt is if you can hear the motor running but nothing else is working.
Hopefully the video will help someone should their own player stop working.
