I have a swing plate - how far out should it be to simulate Milo holding the club to work on the release?

Brendon, have you found that when you get shanky and heely at impact it is due to trying to get forward shaft lean / hands low? I get shanky and wonder if you have come across a remedy for the issue or a cause such as trying to achieve a delivery position?

My ears are burning…😂 But I still beat my age ! Damaged thumbs might have something to do with it. I can hit 3/4 shots with minimal roll but full swing hurts like hell.

Regarding your thumb issue..... Gene Sarazen (won all 4 majors), Francis Ouimet (US Open) and Henry Picard (Masters and PGA) all played using the "St Andrews grip". With the St Andrews grip the left thumb is not on the shaft. Due to an injury to his left thumb in 1938...Henry Picard took his left thumb off the shaft and went on to win the Masters. St. Andrews grip. Go look at pictures of Sarazen and Ouimet and you'll notice the grip.

Cool, his stuff could be good for you to look into. He's in the "rotation camp" of golf instructors but goes about it a little differently.@@BEBETTERGOLF

Forearm rotation is always passive in a proper release. The hands work downward, and the shaft is being dropped to start the downswing. After the ball is hit, the hands work left because of rotation, but also because the hands are relaxed and working freely through the ball. People who flip the clubface are usually lifting the ball. If you make proper contact consistently, the release is automatic.

Not good advice.. Making a video about a swing type you can't do doesn't make sense, in my opinion... obviously, you are searching for video idea's just for a paycheck....

I have the pro BUT I use the player (mid) version the most. I recommend the middle level one for golfers using it for themselves. U need all the lines but not the pro data as much
