Funny thing happened today, Britec. I watch many of your videos and have thus solved innumerable problems. My computer is fine and I decided to watch this video nonetheless..but lo and behold upon following your instructions I too detected a CBS corruption. Following your method to a tee the problem was solved without having to reset anything. I guess providence may have had something to do with it. Anyways, Britec, thank you very much for posting this video. You're always on cue!

THANK YOU SO MUCH, WOOOHOOO, i was having a problem becuz my apps wasnt able to open, then what i did is: - the chkdsk command - when it was 100% scan it didnt want to finish for quite some time, so i just restarted through the power off button

Usually, I get a lot out of your videos but I didn't see how you get the repaired files to overwrite the corrupt files...wasn't that the point?!? Please make a video or update this one (or if I missed it then show the mm:ss where you show how to do it).

I fixed 4 Windows 10 1903 PC's with Corrupt Files by doing these scans in CMD (admin) in this order be patient can take some time. 1. sfc /scannow 2. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth 3. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth 4. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

All you need to do. Doing a reset is kind of unnecessary.

after installing the new windows, whether the new version will be pre activated or i have to purchase a new license. I'm already having activated license.

running a clear cache led me to error in advapi32.dlll ...... missing entry: ProcessidleTasks led me to chkdsk led me to here.... not sure what to do... whats the quickest and safest way to get registry or get everything back to normal... i followed another video which asked us to go to MS download centre and download the directx end user something something etc but that didnt fix my files.... downloaded the win 7 repair thing file and the usb/dvd download thing from MS download centre its just that the usb dvd download program doesnt recognise the win 7 files i downloaded so i just dont know how to put the 2 downloaded parts together and get them working.... my laptop is running right now and i dont want to lose work

is updating windows 10 or use system restore can fix this problem? 'cuz this method didn't work for me..

thank you so much, do you have a solution for adware that only start after starting up the computer and you start working into your browser. your browser start the adware and it pops up at willing. horrible. my adware protection can't catch it because it only activates itself once you type into your browser

Oke i found something. I had the same shit going on and after some analises i found it had to do with windows defender, than i googled it and on the microsoft page i found this: Run in CMD as admin.. dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth sfc /scannow This worked for me, try it ! If it does not work than i suggest you go to take a look in your log file and google the corrupted error message in there and how to fix that specific issue.

@@ozumoztoprak18 Sometimes if you run a thing from CMD and u click outside it the progres is not shown anymore, try clicking the cmd window and just press enter or something..

on the fresh install, you missed pulling out the windows installation key, which I did not have on hand and it was a problem, please add that clip to this video if you can

You should mention somewhere that recent updates to Windows 10 have resulted in such corruptions. 4 out of 4 of my units have fallen victim. Others online state the same thing. This means you don't have disc failure issues by Windows update... urm... victimization?

16:56 Do NOT even think about selecting USB flash drive option, it corrupted my USB stick 2 days ago when installed from a Windows 7 OS. If you create it, you have a slight chance of making it unreadable and unwritable (and not even found maybe) by Windows 7 and showing "No Media" in DiskPart, and "clean" command will not even work.If you have such a usb stick, plug it in, go to Device Management-Portable Devices and find your usb stick, then right click on it and press Uninstall, and restart PC with the stick in it. Do it a few times, until Windows can (somehow like in my case) read the USB, then format it in NTFS (do not unplug the stick if it reads it) to recover it.The best way to make a bootable stick is by Rufus using the Official Windows 10 ISO File, and GPT-UEFI scheme, it worked for my new budget rig and should be safer for your USB flash drive than the Media Creation Tool.

So I get to the dism /online disk cleanup portions of this video that you went over around 12:30 minute mark, and the disk clean up is stopping at 86% with error code 1084 and it states that “this service can not be started in safe mode” But you were able to do it in safe mode. What’s the issue here? Somebody help!!!

Everyone Pay attention if you get this error there are about 90 percent this is a false positive which means CMD is drunk if cmd says that most of the courrpted files are in windows defender and you recently updated windows defender Just ignore it it is a false positive it normally heppen when updating windows defender

When I attempt the cleanup-image /restore health I get to 86.5% every time, and while it safe mode it says Service can’t be started in safe mode. So then I try it in regular mode and I get a different error about not having the capabilities to do this. Please help!

What programs are closing? It could be malware, system corruption, a bad OS or software update, an AV misbehaving, etc.

When i open crystaldisk.. an error message pop out it says “ShellExecuteEx failed; code 2147746132. Clads not registered.”

1 corrupt file in system now deleted it from notepad .log

Mine Says "Corrupt Files Fixed Successfully!" But It Keeps Again When I Scan, I Mean This CBS.log
