When Epson released the XP-510 they made a design decision that gave this model printer a cheaper but functionally close design to the XP-500, but with waste ink pad capacity approximately half that of its older sibling.
This video deals with how to access the waste pads for the XP-510, shows exactly how minimal the pads are and then how to double the waste ink pad capacity to take full advantage of the pad holders available space.
We will be releasing a more detailed video to discuss the design decisions made with this and the subsequent XP-520 to 540 models but for this video we wanted to focus on how to fix the problem.

Please note we didn't create the half pad problem (that was all Epson) but we have created this solution and we genuinely look forward to helping keep a whole lot of printers out of landfill despite the artificially short lifespan of the waste pads designed into these printers.
