I fixed it by doing neiither of the methods. I let the loop run while i was taking a fat ass dump for about 10 minutes and when i came back the screen changed to a "update requires restart" or whatever and clicked ok and then the game worked. Highly recommend this method (taking a fat shit is critical for method to succeed)

I can't stressed enough how much you helped me, I had this problem happened to me two times, the first one, I just delete the game file and redownload everything 178gb all over again, it worked but took a lot of time, the second time I use your second method, it worked just need to download few gb of files

life saver yes. option 2 worked for me but the download was only like 20meg yes 20meg i dont understand but like others the caldera update screwed things up game kept crashing last night and now stuck in update/ scan and repair loop this fixed for me, well chuffed but surprised but grateful thankyou so much

You my friend are a lifesaver. I was playing Caldera last night flawlessly on PC. And I think the integration of the regular warzone update may have flawed the launch of Warzone. Let mine scan for IDK how now many hours while I slept only to find that it had started over again and again. I had just reinstalled Windows 10 again and copied over the game files I'd backed up, so was blaming that. You saved me! :)

Game crashed after Pacific came out and i had the genius idea of accepting to "send crash report and scan game files" when offered which broke the game. Second method fixed it for me, thanks alot!!
