Fix: Unsupported Operating System | Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2!
If you're using Windows 11 Insider, then you're likely getting this error since the latest update in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Activision is aware of the issue and is actively working on a fix, but in the meanwhile, if you need to play, this video has the simple steps you need to follow to get back in the game as soon as possible.

Did remove all the beta and all related updates. But after rebooting my PC. The beta still there. It appears that it won't let me uninstall these beta feature. BTW, I'm using Windows 11 Pro ver.

I have done everything you have shown. Still gives the same errror. I installed brand new non-insider, public release windows 11 and still getting the same error. No compatibility is set by the way.
So does it matter if your windows isn't activated
There’s nothing that says what you said after i click on “uninstall updates”

I checked, and I don't have any beta updates under the Uninstall Updates.....Any other solutions

Im on the basic windows 11, but it says im on windows 8. My Operating system says otehrwise and my layout is exactly as the Uploader's. Windows 11. I even checked the properties but the highest I can go to for the System selection is windows 8, so idk what to do on this part. EDIT: Im on windows 11 22h2

Make a windows insider program account should be fairly easy to do it was for me, just click edit in Windows insider program.

i have the same problem but in windows 10
Ok so I got it to play. By just installing my last update which was on 8/31/2023. Then restart my PC. It worked fine. It did go through another update but it's paying the game
Unfortunately no beta files showed up for me and i didnt have any windows insider program section, any solutions?

If you go to settings you can go to updates and there’s a icon you can press that says go back which will take you back to windows 10 from windows 11
