    Colorado grower here. 10yrs commercially and 25yrs private. I have never foliar feed but knowing what I know this is extremely good advice! I would also like to say that Recharge WILL make a huge difference in your plants nutrient up take!!! Especially if you don't inoculat your soils during up shifting 😊 see to work as well as azos/mycos

    Scotty, Neem oil shouldnt be so easily dismissed. Not only is it an organic pesticide, it is also a miticide, as well as a leaf polish. Wich helps in photosynthesis process. Only pure cold pressed Neem. Dynagrow, for example. The only brand ill use. Great for a preventative, & can be directly watered with. Neem seeds are a crucial part of building a good organic soil. All natural. For those of us not building organic soil, foliar feeding / applying Neem should be practiced more than it is. Tons of ppl think its a chemical & can cause cancer.

    Another good one sir. I've been "foliar feeding" since the 70's. I try and focus on the underside of the leaves, there are more stomata on the underside of leaves to absorb nutrients. I foliar feed up till around 3 weeks in flower. I also will foliar feed that long for branch stems, makes them pliable for easier plant training. You can roll a stem around your finger while pulling upward. You can pull on the stem with a lot of pressure, you 're dealing with "tensile strength". It's not necessary to crimp the stem over risking injury to the future flower. Practice with a bobbin of thread or 1/2" pvc pipe. Piss on snapping stems. Sorry, I got off topic but still pertained to foliar benefits. lol

    @@ScottyReal420 a nice show idea might be one that makes home growing easier, like even the simple things of having all your tools close by and a trash can or help on cleaning while a grow is happening. Ways to store stuff, they make shelves now for tents, like the easy stuff that a lot of newbies don't realize till they're around it a bunch. Easy pest analysis by just hanging sticky pads, simple stuff that you wouldnt do unless you knew. Cheers!

    Lots of really great information as always ! There are some nutrients that can't be taken up by foliar feeding from what I understand . I always fed in the evening just so I didn't take any chances burning the leaves if the sun came out and it hadn't dried out well enough . I ordered some Recharge it should be here this week . I was wondering if I can mix it with sparkling mineral water ? I don't know if you have any info on it. I'm going to add the recharge to a couple of my 55 gallon barrels I got brewing up since last summer . I'm probably the only weirdo you know that would make a fertilizer out of the cocklebur plant when it's at the flower stage lol . Those cocklebur plants have terps too lol . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !

  • @ScottyReal420

    @ScottyReal420

    The minerals in the sparkling mineral water may aid your plant but the stomata of the leaf is what uptakes carbon dioxide so the extra carbon dioxide in the mineral water will have little effect when added to your roots. Thanks for sharing!

  • @kanehbosm8222

    @kanehbosm8222

    3 ай бұрын

    Yup, every year .. tried many things .. i grow like 40 outdoor plants .. the best way for me eliminate the borers , and this mind you may not be the best way . Borers usually hit me around mid-july , may take a couple weeks before u notice the damage , i check my plants regularly for little holes or the egg piles in around the nodes .. when i see the entry hole i will use a sharp utility knife and stick in the center of the hole then gently slice up 1-2 inches up the stem and 1-2 inches down the stem , try to get directly in the center of the stem to avoid as much damage as possible to the stem , then gently open up the stem and flick out the borer , alot of times you will just end up slicing the borer in half. I then will take a piece of electrical tape and wrap around the slice to hold it together , will heal itself in a week or 2, if you do it clean enough you maybe able to avoid the tape..Due diligence is the key , check your plants and look for holes or Knuckles on the nodes if they have been in there for awhile.. . I miss a few but nothing to serious .. i also find some strains more acceptable then others , for example: Sapphire OG gets riddled . Mold is my biggest issue in mid-late flower

    It can be foliar fed but it will leave stains on your leaves from the molasses and can easily clog up sprayers, we recommend Recharge be used as a soil drench.

    The microbes in Recharge are not meant to live in water for very long with out having media and roots to colonize on, so we do not recommend it be used in revivors. but if you are running a hydro system with coco you can top water Recharge weekly.

    That could be a magnesium issue, magnesium is a mobile nutrient, the plant will move it from the lower parts to the new growth. the leave will show yellowing in between the veins. is this is what is happening add 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts to a gallon of water and foliar spray just before lights out.

    They've done research using aspirin on tomato plants & fungal disease was cut by half,But only as a preventative.They believe the acids trigger the plant to start raising its bug defence (as if it were actually under attack) However if there's already a problem then it's non effective for the issue 🌱 Personally I've never bothered on cannabis plants mainly because I always use a good silica & that will help / stop fungus to be able to get a hold on her & it will help prevent insects from feeding off her & eventually they won't even see her as a food source 👀🌱 Each to their own 🌱👌👍😎🌱 Happy growing everyone 🌱🌍😎
