That's why I made the video. I felt so dumb when I realized it, too. I tried looking it up and I am not going to tell you how long I spent trying to figure it out, but it was too long. 😊

Omg!! Mine was the same problem, and it just fixed because of this video after searching several other videos… Male led ones I might add…that Went into depth about cleaning the hose and clogged and all the other crud, including taking the whole bloody thing apart! Yours was such a simple fix, and I’m so so happy that I found this video! Ladies rule!

Thanks! I felt very stupid as well. This is the second time KZread has saved me. The first time was refrigerator failure at 5:00 PM on a Saturday. I just typed in the model # and there was the 2 min solution that save expensive food. KZread is very useful. Thanks again

Hey...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIDEO POST If your wand gets stuck ...please know that you HAVE TO have the cord COMPLETELY unwrapped from it's handles - otherwise it will NOT let go. I guess there are tiny sensors in them. So don't go with a hammer & screwdriver at the small white latches unless you absolutely have to.

Oh my gosh!!!!! You just helped me so much!! I tried everything, but only needed the wand so I didn’t unwrap all of the cord!! I was going crazy wondering why it stuck. Yes, I feel the same way now when I found out every car has a little arrow by the gas gage to tell which side the tank is on!! Thank you again

Flip down the upper bracket of cord winder--it all comes right off.

If you turn the upper bracket for the cord winding area, the entire cord slides right off. No "unwinding" necessary.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I cannot get the small one on top to release either. I have only had this vacuum for less than one year. Getting really frustrated with it.
