Yes, you are free to use another cable. But don't use it with a fast charging adapter. Normal phone charge of 5v 1A or 5v 2A is good.

The sound is decent. If your have used oraimo freepods 3, this riff is not up to that. Nevertheless, the size and shape make it fits into any small ears or into ear without showing much outside. Small comfy yet mighty. The sound quality is very good.

OMG! I was just about to buy a new earpod. cos mine could only connect one ear to a device at a time. So usually, I can connect both ears to two different devices and they'l work simultaneously.
