I appreciate the extra care you take but. Ive done a hea of these I temove the battery port first by heating underneath and then just heat the port from underneath after adding 183c solder to pins and mounting points haven't lost a component yet

chip quick or low melt solder to remove. what did you use for the install part. leaded or tin unleaded. low melt solder?

So I was trying to do a repair on mine and the little tiny metal strips where the tip of the port connects. A couple are missing on my board is that a problem or a separate repair? I'm brand new to this stuff and I need some guidance haha

Had the same issue when trying to remove my port. Over half the hidden header pins came off the board. I think I need a new board now unless you figured something out?

if my switch lite isnt holding a charge like it can be at 100% & is draining to 0% in seconds can that be the charging port or is it the battery?

Are you still repairing to ship in USB C ports?

How much would you charge for that repairs?

Mate after seeing his vids I would suggest you to send it elsewhere. I could make some recommendations based on where you live.

No 🌈 sh!t.... but damn I wished I live in Omaha Nebraska u will most definitely be my go2 guy for my ps4 blue ray lens on my PS4 ....oh yeah I've watched that one just didn't kno' u was world wide wit it bro' bro' that's why I'm here and thinking about one of these for my 9yo daughter

Get a proper vendor if your running a business. Stay away from eBay you just get a bunch of junk and at a higher price. Also don't use low melt removing type c ports. That's a super quick way to rip pads. And that's a piss poor job of soldering the legs. You didn't even warm up the area to properly flow solder to securely hold the port. If your gonna do vids demonstrating how to do jobs. Atleast do them properly. No need to show people how to do a poor job resulting in more repairs in the future.

@@HoodieKayy won't matter since your only putting a little solder on the pads for the port and a little on the ports pins to get them pre tined. Now if you was to be soldering on some jumpers it would depend on what your soldering on to and how much voltage the wire would have going through it.
