Fix My Game | Funky Arm Traps With Jay Rodriguez

Спорт

We dropped in to B-Team to learn from 2022 ADCC Trials winner Jay Rodriguez, who showed us some wizardry in trapping arms. Jay Rod is back at WNO 24 against Tainan Dalpra on June 20th!

Buttery smooth energy control - its interesting that moving slower shows how fast JRod normally is.

I’m so happy to see jay doing high ground stuff. I remember the B team video they came out with that went over all this stuff in detail and I remember how wide jays eyes were because he had just leveled up after seeing and filming that. 😂

The crazy part is that this is the purple belt version of Jay Rod. Imagine what dude is going to be like in a couple of years when he peaks physically while also being a black belt.

the last move is an old Judo move. Only difference is that he is using it off of a double overwrap as opposed to a seatbelt. Interesting how he' has interpreted it.

Dalpra is overrated. That school never adapted to novelty. No leglocks, no over under, nothing. Mendes more oriented towards business than innovation. Soon we will see the true results. Les go, Jay, you Jiu Jitsu Drew Nickens!
