I need thank you so much! This is the only method that fix my grub boot.

I want to dual boot windows 10 and linux mint. But I get that gnu grub error instead of the installation setup I can't even install linux..

there is no recommended repair button , just "create a bootinfo....." in boot repair (win10, ubuntu18)

Hi, what if it's not possible to get into bios? My problem is that it will not get into bios at all. Opens these same (grub) window

For me : 1. F2 to bootable setup 2. Disable secure boot & enable boot ROM 3. disable UBUNTU or any Linux distro that has uninstalled before then reinstall That's it for me Hope it helps

Thanks for the video. However, for me the situation looks a bit different: I've got installed Ubuntu on a PC with SSD (Windows on it) and HDD. So I decided to use part of SSD to install Ubuntu to run it smoothly. However, grub doesn't recognize Ubuntu on SSD anymore and continues to boot Windows. Strange...

Hay bro, I bought a pc which have windows+Ubuntu dual boot system. Unfortunately it is showing error "Grub rescue: No such partition. I've run my system with linux bootable usb.. There is single partition appeared on the " Computer " screen,, before that i have 5 partitions. in windows 10.containing data.....Now it is showing all partitions in "disks" option, but not showing in My computer (linux mint) but not accessible. Please help me how to save data on all 5 drives.. I'm new to linux 🙏🙏🙏

Go to Bios Setup by press F2 then set boot priority to Mac or Linux ... See if other os work or not

I had created a dual boot Windows+ Ubuntu system. On startup option to select Ubuntu or windows would show up and I could select either of them and use my lap happily..I had data of 300 gb in Ubuntu and the rest 700 gb for windows. But recently ,while using Windows , I partitioned one of my drive which had excess space and transferred the space to my c drive .. After I did that whenever I start my computer instead of showing the dual boot option it is showing the "minimal bash grub black screen". So to use Windows I type exit on the grub screen and I can safely enter windows ..but I am concerned because I can't go into Ubuntu anymore and fear that my important data is Ubuntu is lost forever If I do the steps shown here will I get back the data . Or will it overwrite it and I may lose the Ubuntu data?? Please help I have exams next week and my course materials are stored in Ubuntu..

no! If if still can't fix it! go to USB live mode and you can access your data ! no data lost ! try to use boot repair first.

@@badpenguin4592 I tried boot repair first ..it is not showing "recommended repair " option.. Then I tried Ubuntu live disk ..still no "recommended repair " option .. I tried advanced option in both and no change whatsoever...

I'm gonna try this later, I tried dual booting I installed linux mint smoothly and works perfectly expect for the wifi card on my laptop is not detected and some drivers, I got stuck on this menu when I tried to use the nvidia gpu drivers. good thing I still got back to my main OS.

Wifi Card not detect can be because of your card, You can tried to remove it,clean,dry it and take it back. I used to do that. but be careful .

Linux mint 19.3 Cinnamon is tested and it still works for me. Note,you have to go to linux mint 19.3 bootable usb mode,connect internet and use boot repair to fix. If it still not work. You have to copy all of your important data and reinstall. Sorry to here this but it works for me all the time.
