Craftsman edger with Tecumseh will not start . Carb needed cleaning and bad gas kept this auction buy from running.

I've got the same edger but in a Murray with a Tecumseh Lev100 3.8 hp engine which I believe is what the Craftsman in the video has

Thank you THOMAS THESAILOR Chubby for the comment. I'd go with the go cart personally.

Changed the oil last week and bought a new star shaped Stens blade on eBay. Fits great. 9" overall diameter, 4 blades essentially, 1/2" center hole. Make sure you buy one with a 1/2" center hole. Some of them are 5/8" and won't fit tightly enough. And then we got about 8" of lake effect snow.......figures.

Although mine is different. Mine has a different motor, or at least a different carburetor arrangement. The carburetor is essentially an indentation in the top of the fuel tank. Very unusual. No governor, just a "sail" that reacts to the speed of the engine via the fan on the top of the engine. A 2002 model according to the date code on the sticker.

That blade should make short work of any edging job.

I would guess your engine is a Briggs and stratton. The fuel tank is on the right side of the engine?

this is a Tecumseh and you Can tell because of the carb and air filter

Maybe it was running rough because your hose was disconnected.

Good edger I'd say, 3.5 horse Tecumseh on it.
