I just picked up a WeedEater mower with this same engine on it. I have to say these are great little engines, especially when compared to the cheesy tinker-toy OHV engines B&S (or whoever actually makes them) is putting out now!

I agree! These are hardy little engines! It's a shame they're a thing of the past, but at least we can still find some to tinker on. :)

Nice little edger . I have one its a McLane with the 3hp side shaft engine

Hi! I'm not sure on the model, unless it says on the top cover (in the video). This wasn't/isn't my machine -- it was a relative's. As for parts, I always pick up the diaphragm/gasket kit at Lowe's. It's between $5-$6, so not too bad.
