I don’t hang things in my closet unless they are ironed/steamed. This way they are ready to go when I pull them out. Makes a HUGE difference when it’s time to get ready.

You know! When my steam generator went so did my joy. 😂 But, items are better left in the closet wrinkled than worn. One dodgy shirt was all it took…never ever again!

Hair is a HUUUGE part of loving your outfit and it's not spoken of enough. As someone who recently committed to wearing my hair straight exclusively, I feel like now I (emphasis on I. Me, myself and I) can finally style my hair and feel completely done up.

Yes, part two please! This was so good and relatable. I too struggle with feel amazing in my clothes when my hair is not right. Most recently, I’ve struggled with not feeling amazing when on’t have on makeup. I’m not taking about full glam type of looks but I can no longer just put on lipstick or gloss and go.

I hate ironing, but spend about 3 hours a week doing it, as I like my clothes to look their best - even though most of my summer wardrobe is made from linen and after a few minutes’ wear, everything looks as creased as ever!

I totally understand the hair thing. I recently colored my hair dark brown. It has never been this dark but it looks thicker and more uniform. Before it was grey roots , faded brown middle with red ends and I was tired of it. Now i think it looks better and i feel better

Why I 10:42 cried ( happy tears)at the end because when you said work on it which I am , working out almost every day, ran a mile on my treadmill 1st time ever I WAS SO PROUD OF MYSELF 😂and I’m 52 soon to be. 53 and the hair think I love my natural curls they are define long but when you say look at the pics to see when you felt your best it was a light 💡 moment for me and I can say it was when my hair is straighten with curls I think after being natural for over 11 almost 12 I feel like if I get a perm I’m a sell out thank you for making me think about me again for once 👏🏾🥰🥰🥰🥰💯

#5 was so powerful because a full closet of clothes alone won't make you happy. Do the inside work. For me it was weight. I wasn't comfortable with my weight. I was still very beautiful. We all are regardless of our weight and I know that but for me I would not buy clothes because I wasn't comfortable in my own skin. So for me I started taking better care of myself. Putting myself first on the agenda and my attitude began to change as I lost weight. Now this is a sensitive topic but for me it is my truth. Honestly, looking back I should have dressed my body anyway, but honestly I didn't. However, now I made up for lost time and I dress my body and plan my outfits because for me it is a spirit lift to look well put together.......Mrs. C. Lee

Absolutely, just ironed my white shirt to wear to a concert on a Saturday afternoon! Definitely please an iron and a steamer! Sometimes a steamer can’t get certain wrinkles.😂

I really enjoyed this video. I like your last tip. We need to fix internal issues because they always rob us of our confidence. I also iron my clothes. Surprisingly, I watched this video while ironing what an irony 😂😂. I just iron a bunch of my favorite outfits to have them ready to wear. Ugh! My hair is the struggle bus I’m on and it will definitely break an outfit. I have shoulder length hair but I need a style that I can manage easily when getting dressed.
