I actually brought it for my Ireland trip. Saved me the night my rental van ran out of propane.

I will be buying the kettle. My current kettle was given to me by my mom. Also, I noticed my Volta isn’t charging while driving. I wonder what it could be.

There are so many potential reasons. The best thing to do is to go to the Facebook group and download the troubleshooting document. If that doesn't work, you can always ask the hive mind in the group. Hopefully it's not something too serious like a broken alternator. Good luck.

Thanks for sharing. Curious to know what you use your kettle for? In the spirit of saving space in the van, why don’t you just use microwave to heat water?

Haha, great question, and you're clearly not from Asia or from the UK :). I actually talked about it, but I cut it for time. 1. I make Bubble Tea and I tend to make a big bottle and cool it in the fridge. 2. I use it for making cup noodles and it's just easier to boil a big pot of water and pour. 3. The mug or the bowl gets burning hot when I microwave it, versus a mug I can actually hold and drink out of. 4. When I microwave a full mug of water and when they start boiling, water spills all over the place. 5. It uses less power than microwave. If space saving is important to you, microwave is perfectly fine. I just boil water more, so a dedicated kettle is easier and makes more sense. It all depends on your preference.
