The 5th bar, though my knowledge of Game's design isn't great, could be an anti-crash measure. Example; both doors shut, one light on then opening camera could try and pull 5 bars, but if there's no 5th bar programmed could cause a crash.

Considering it would have been much easier to program in the light to turn off a frame before the cams comes up, seems much more likely that it's just a leftover from initially being able to keep the lights on with the camera up. (Maybe to punish inattentive players who forget to turn the lights off while checking the cameras, similar to how the tools in UCN still draw power even while doing functionally nothing, like running AC/Fan at 60 degrees.)

@@DumbArse A bunch of code? There's already existing code to turn the light off when you use the cameras. It would literally just be changing the time it does it by 1 frame. Literally delete the number, add 1, that's all. Creating a new png and then coding the game to lookup that specific one for a single frame to then remove it again right afterwards is far more work than replacing a 15 with a 14 for instance.

@@Winasaurus the cam comes up and turns off the lights as soon an you press the button, there is no delay between those. You cannot remove time from a non-existant delay and you cannot turn the lights off before pressing the button as that would require the game to predict the future. For it to be able to turn it off just a bit before you would need to code in the delay you are talking about first. Now it's literally "powerconsumption use image library "powerconsumption 1-4" with the consumption just looking for a number and matching it on screen with the same png. Literally just adding a number and a png to an already working system

@@DumbArse The light visually turns off instantly, but in terms of power draw is clearly pulling for longer than it should, hence why it still does for 1 frame with the cams up. It doesn't need to predict the future as entering cams and the extra power draw is delayed by the whole time the cam screen is flipping up. At absolute worst, you'd need to simply change when lights stop drawing power to the start of the cam flip with a delay, at best they already are and you just need to tweak the delay by a frame. In no case is creating an image and a relevant lookup for a single frame LESS work. Not to mention it would make far more sense to just have the image be identical to the previous power draw image. The fact it actually shows another bar makes it far more likely it was intended to be able to draw that much power for more than a single frame, since there's no point even creating the image unless it is meant to represent something. If it really just needed ANYTHING to stop a crash, then the regular max power draw would have been good enough without causing 1 frame bar changes.

6:07 The reason why it wasn't used was because FNaF 4 was intended to be the "final chapter" of the series, but Scott decided to remove the tagline for obvious reasons.

Knowing how clickteam fusion (the software Scott used to make the game) works, the lives sprites were probably carried over due to Scott using Fnaf 1's project as a template for the later games, as Clickteam has a neat little function that lets you duplicate your projects (aka games).

If I remember correctly then there was one thing you missed in sister location. There should be at some point in the game an female voice (the same one that says “motion trigger, Circus gallery vent”) says “Glass pressure triggered, please do not push against the glass”. My guess is that at some point Circus baby would push against the glass causing it to break. (And she’d probably escape)

Funfact: The "Toxic" Bar in the files is used in some fangames, and in one instance there was a brief moment of time where it was used in the "FNAF maker" fan game.

I remember the full length FNAF1 scream from a video someone made playing the game way back in the first months of it being out. They got caught by Chica but the game glitched and played the full scream while the dude just sat there freaked out of his mind. Somehow the game didn't register a game over either because he was able to continue the night and win.

The life counter in the first three games is most likely, if not definitely because the first three games used exactly the same code, which is how he kept turning them out so fast. He just copied and pasted the code from the previous games, changed the numbers a bit, and assigned new textures to them (and of course added some extra stuff for cutscenes and mini games). It didn’t appear in the fourth game because that game didn’t use the same code.

Actually, the opened box graphic IS used. Lemme explain; See, in the game Fnaf World, there's actually tons of prize boxes around the map that are almost IDENTICAL to "The Box", and when you open one, that opened box graphic would be used (albeit much smaller) as you got an item from the box. However, it's not always seen clearly so I can understand where the confusion comes from.

This video was really awesome. The perfect thing to watch after 7 hours at McDonald's. It reminds me of watching Caddicarous when I was a younger teenager.

On the mobile version of FNaF 1, you can hear the full 5 second sound effect for jumpcares.

look STORY TIME : i was 6 when it came out... i was poor and i didn't have the money to buy the game , i saw a teddy-bear and thought it was a childish game , i was born in 2006 and it was the year Sonic the hedgehog came out , and in 2014 i just lost it when it was popular and peapole told that it was scary , and FNAF 3 was going to come out and i was just... happy , i felt free when i knew that cracking and pirating games in my country was legal , i did it , i made it , i played it , and then... fnaf 3 came out in 2015 i was shocked that it came out one complete year to release it , and then when i told my friend about it he said : " what ? its just 4 or 5 months , what do you think" ME : " ( what ? why ? i was 6 ... ) it came out in 2012... what are you talking about ? " from then on , peapole hate me beacause of this , i was hated , sad , even old friends bullied me after that , why ? 5:18 actually this graphic is used in game, because this night is pretty tricky to go to because you need to flicker options on menu and it will maybe show under the continue option 7 night and if you click on it and there you go there is a 7th night
