    It's exactly like radio, satellite, WiFi, blue tooth, and the current networks only operating on a different range of the electromagnetic spectrum. It is directional instead of constant omni-directional signaling. It doesn't penetrate through things well and so it will have many more transmitter stations, it will run at lower power then the current wide area signal towers. Take a basic physics lesson and learn about the 4 fundamental forces and what light is then maybe you might better understand what ALL our wireless transmission technologies are.

    @@NeverSuspects I would highly recommend you purchase a meter and measure exactly how much you're getting. In CA, they are being used as a test case. They even 'hide' this in the palm trees. Since they began installing 4G even, there are an unprecedented amount of people who are suffering from Brain Cancer. The G is NOT just Generation. Check the figures. They just love people who are ignorant of the facts. Let us not forget about All the Ambassadors overseas, who were ALL stricken ill, and they had to be brought home. At that time, China was testing the 5 G, and it is the lethal version. They were experiencing severe migraine headaches, Humming noises in their ears. It affects others, just as myself. It's a weakness, Electromagnetic Sensitivity. In my area there is one in fairly close proximity...about 3/4 of a mile. My ears never stop humming. I went through it at an apartment complex before moving out to a country area. I get it everywhere there's anything electrical. The utility company had to remove our smart meter, as it set off my husband's pacemaker/defibrillator, and he got one heck of a shock to his heart, but the VA hospital that watched his monitor said 'an event' was no present. They are the ones who suggested we call the utility company and have the old one put back.

    Nice advertisement for the 5G network owners that are now demanding the right to put antennas in the public's right-of-way and on every corner of every street across the globe. I also couldn't help but notice that the WSJ referred to John Deere as the owner of farms and implied that the farmer is just a skilled operator. Say no to 5G and yes to the right to repair items that you own.

    This is a puff piece. Please do some real journalism - like why the wireless industry is pushing to get the technology in place before comprehensive studies about health & safety are completed. Recent studies show our current technology can pose health hazards and that is also being suppressed. You might want to look into that as well.

    I was watching and thinking "When discussing debunking the myths, why hasn't any of the health effects been discussed?" The only reasonable answer why is that no matter how much money they throw at PR and spin, you can only debunk something if there is no truth in it! Obviously after all the thousands of peer reviewed reports highlighting health concerns such as genetic damage (including various cancers), they don't have a prayer in overturning them, so consider that if they shout loudly enough about the benefits while ignoring the glaring negatives, all of us consumers will forget about getting sick with cancer and rush out to spend money on even more devices.....

    5G is necessary in China and in China only. The communist government needs to transfer each and every bit of your personal data to a government controlled database. Just imagine what 5G can do with cameras across the country and facial recognition technologies. For those of you who live in the free world, you can ask yourself on more serious question like the cost, coverage and health risk before following the footsteps of a dictatorship.

    You might be able to find a quack or two in scientific fields that attest to these harms despite them contradicting everything we know about how radiation works. Even if radiation of this type caused cancer, the dose you get from walking outside in the sun is a dose much larger than you'd get from a cell phone tower. Compared to that radiation, a cell phone tower is a drop in the bucket. If you're concerned, don't hold your cell phone against your head all day and you've just about eliminated the risk. Because the amount of radiation from a source decreases the farther you stray from that source rapidly. The inverse squared law says that the phone next to your skull gives you much higher doses of radiation than the cell towers. If you have wifi in your house, it has very similar radiation outputs and will be much higher intensity because it is much closer. Even if the cancer risk was real, and there is no quality evidence that it is, new cell phone towers would not markedly increase your risk unless you are a hermit living alone and suddenly somebody place a cell phone tower over your cave.

  • @HummingbirdCyborg

    @HummingbirdCyborg

    5 жыл бұрын

    Nope. I said that there isn't good data supporting the notion of 5G radiation being harmful, but that if it was and like I said, there's no evidence that it is, it would be a literal drop in the bucket. As far as sunlight goes, I agree that it causes cancer. It has ultraviolet light and other forms of high energy EM radiation that has been linked to cancer. As for your claim about medical studies measuring heat instead of EM radiation, I don't understand what you mean by your claim.

Old frequencies are actually more powerful as their wave and energy was needed for the smaller amount of antennas of years ago. That made absolutely no sense. A coffee serving robot, 1. why does it need to be connected to the cloud? How much data does it need to push back n forth to accomplish such a basic task especially when compared to other humanoid robots? 2. 5g is only the last mile... cloud based servers are not going to have mobile dongles in them so zero latency? I doubt it 3. Factory robots, if they really need that kind of throughput, they would have fiber network cards in them. Factory operation servers are likely on site. How is putting these devices on the mobile network a good idea? 4. There is still a spectrum and thus a bandwidth limitation. Let's not waste it by putting devices on mobile/cell networks for the sake of it.. stick to cable 5. Remote surgery, yeah ok maybe.. depending on where the patient and surgeon is. But likely that one of the two are going to be on a fibre connection

    As a radio communications technician for almost 50 years, I can professionally testify, and without a doubt, frequencies in these ranges are truly dangerous. To exposure human beings, animals and plants have been proven harmful. Genetic damage occurs even at moderate levels. Make no mistake, this is something we don't need nor want! To allow people to be exposed to such a potential carcinogen is in fact a serious assault, and those deploying such transmitters near people are liable for commiting a crime.

    Serious health concerns with 5G First, it’s important to know that in 2011, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer classified RFR as a potential 2B carcinogen and specified that the use of mobile phones could lead to specific forms of brain tumors. Many studies have associated low-level RFR exposure with a litany of health effects, including: DNA single and double-strand breaks (which leads to cancer)oxidative damage (which leads to tissue deterioration and premature ageing)disruption of cell metabolismincreased blood-brain barrier permeabilitymelatonin reduction (leading to insomnia and increasing cancer risks)disruption of brain glucose metabolismgeneration of stress proteins (leading to myriad diseases) As mentioned, the new 5G technology utilizes higher-frequency MMW bands, which give off the same dose of radiation as airport scanners. The effects of this radiation on public health have yet to undergo the rigours of long-term testing. Adoption of 5G will mean more signals carrying more energy through the high-frequency spectrum, with more transmitters located closer to people’s homes and workplaces-basically a lot more (and more potent) RFR flying around us. It’s no wonder that apprehension exists over potential risks, to both human and environmental health. Perhaps the strongest concern involves adverse effects of MMWs on human skin. This letter to the Federal Communications Commission, from Dr Yael Stein of Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, outlines the main points. Over ninety percent of microwave radiation is absorbed by the epidermis and dermis layers, so human skin basically acts as an absorbing sponge for microwave radiation. Disquieting as this may sound, it’s generally considered acceptable so long as the violating wavelengths are greater than the skin layer’s dimensions. But MMW’s violate this condition. Furthermore, the sweat ducts in the skin’s upper layer act like helical antennas, which are specialized antennas constructed specifically to respond to electromagnetic fields. With millions of sweat ducts, and 5G’s increased RFR needs, it stands to reason that our bodies will become far more conductive to this radiation. The full ramifications of this fact are presently unclear, especially for more vulnerable members of the public (e.g., babies, pregnant women, the elderly), but this technology Furthermore, MMWs may cause our pain receptors to flare up in recognition of the waves as damaging stimuli. Consider that the US Department of Defense already uses a crowd-dispersal method called the Active Denial System, in which MMWs are directed at crowds to make their skin feel like it’s burning, and also has the ability to basically microwave populations to death from afar with this technology if they choose to do so. And the telecommunications industry wants to fill our atmosphere with MMWs?

    The biggest problem is the sheer amount of millimeter wave cell towers that are required for suburban sprawl - especially with duplicate, competing networks. I mean this tech just doesn't make sense for many suburban & rural users - they're far better off with the reliability and speed of fiber, WiFi and 4G. Anyway the carriers will keep milking the consumer with data caps, visible or hidden. In India you can already get 6.5GB/day of 4G data for just $13 with Jio, but none of the Western carriers will ever match that because they like us paying more. The carriers will keep their prices high, high enough for many data intensive commercial users to look for alternatives.
