Five Minute Histories: City House

The mansion at 6 E Eager St, today called City House, was built by William Marburg in 1906 and it is gorgeous both outside and inside. So much so that today’s Five Minute Histories video is filmed inside the building! We are thrilled to be joined by City House’s Julia Kasmouski to tell us how businesses and remote workers use the building today. Thanks for watching and see you next week with another Five Minute Histories video.
This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." Every week, we’ll record a short video about a different historic place in Baltimore and post it on our Facebook page and KZread channel.

New sub here. How absolutely superb. The detail and the restoration are unsurpassed. We live in Philadelphia so shall definitely make a trip down to see this.

I think that my wife & I visited the City House once during one of the annual Doors Open Baltimore events when we were still living in MD.

The Marburg family are distant relatives of mine.

I got a private tour of the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus, but I don't remember being shown the Marburg Building.
