Five Minute Histories: BMA Sculpture Gardens

Did you know that the Baltimore Museum of Art has not one, but two sculpture gardens filled with world class pieces by artists like Calder, Noguchi, Miró and Rodin? In today’s Five Minute Histories video we explore these wonderful BMA Sculpture Gardens! Thanks for watching and see you next week.
This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." We record short videos about different historic places all over Baltimore and post them on our Facebook page, KZread channel, and website. For more information or to become a member of Baltimore Heritage, check out: baltimoreheritage.org/support/

I always enjoyed the BMA's larger, wooded sculpture garden when I lived near Baltimore (although it seemed to be locked/closed more often than it was open to the public).

Sorry, one more thing. As a kid I was always fascinated by the civil war encampment at Union square park. Can you do a video about that part of Baltimore history?

Thank you for all the videos and history! Have you done a video on the Baltimore News American Paper? My aunt used to work there before it closed and the building demolished. That was the newspaper that my family read until it was closed and I would love to hear you tell us about it's history. Thank you as always!

What is the history of the green building in the background?
