I am not a religious girl, but I have always believed that religious women's clothing is too pretty, it enhances their natural beauty 💗

Thanks for this! I don't often wear a shaper. I usually do a regal wrap with a twist, so I'm glad I'm doing it right!

Most of my scarves (including all the ones in this video, I think) are from Wrapunzel, which is actually based out of the US! I always link to all the products used in the description box of each video.

What can I do when I feel like no matter what I do wrapping doesn’t seem to suit my head ? I’ve thought it was so beautiful for so long but I just can’t seem to get anything to look nice on me

In the first place, I would try wearing wraps more around your own house. It can be tough to get used to seeing yourself in a different way, and maybe you just aren't used to seeing yourself wrapped yet! I have never in my life looked at a woman wearing a wrap and thought, "that really doesn't suit her!" so I would guess at least some of it is being overly harsh on yourself. Also, if you wear makeup, try making yourself up nicely before wrapping. I think wraps can draw a lot of attention to the face, and I can feel a little plain if I'm wrapped but not wearing any makeup. I feel like I can go bolder with my makeup while wrapped because the wrap provides balance. Finally, and it sounds like you're already doing this, I would start experimenting as much as possible - wrapping further forward or further back, more volume on top or at the back, wrapping with angles at the front or not, etc. It takes time to figure out what you like best on yourself, and that's likely to change over time as well. I hope some of this helps, but in my opinion, wrapping is like anything else in that there really is no substitute for practice. 😊

@@sarahrivkah thank you so much for taking the time to try and help me. It means so much. I just became a mommy for the third time. Like most my life is crazy (I’m very blessed) Wrapping is one of those things that I’ve been drawn to for so long but I talk myself out of it. The thing is, I’ve seen women who all look so different from each other and they all look beautiful. So it’s like “what’s wrong with me” In my teens and twenties I thought beauty meant being as thin as possible and well dressing in a less than modest way. I would dye my hair and get piercings just trying to find myself and feel better about myself . But since meeting my husband and having three kids I’ve realized not only do I not have to dress that way but now I have an example to set. My daughter is approaching her teen years and I would like her to like herself unlike how I’ve been for my whole life. I find wrapping just so beautiful. I know I don’t have to explain all this but idk, you have been so kind and I guess I want you to understand why your kindness and encouragement means so much. Can I ask you for a little more help and ask what are the top three Wrapunzel scarves you think would be good for me? I was eyeing up the petalsoft. Cuz it seemed grippy.

@@masuganut2082 Thank you for the kind words, and congratulations on the arrival of your newest! It means so much to me to be able to help other women find joy and beauty in this mitzvah, as I have. I am even more convinced that your main issue with wrapping is having too critical of an eye for yourself! I think we are all guilty of this at times. If you are on Facebook, I would recommend joining the Wrapunzel Community Group - it's a women's only group full of the most supportive, kind, creative ladies. Not only good for inspiration, but to help build confidence and seek honest, constructive feedback on your wraps. As for good beginner scarves, the petalsofts are definitely high on the list. They are lightweight and decently grippy, but also fluffy enough to create more volume. When I first started wrapping, I found that I really preferred the lightest weight scarves, and the others I "grew into" over time. If you don't mind sparkle, the shiny-licious and sparkle-licious scarves are lovely and easy to wrap with. I also really like the New York brights and striped delights scarves, though the former aren't completely opaque if that is a problem for you. I wish you all the best on your wrapping journey! Please stay in touch, and reach out if you have any more questions!

@@sarahrivkah thank you so much for your kindness. I have a sensitive head so I’m hoping lightweight scarves will help me not to get so many headaches as I do now with just putting my hair in a ponytail. I’m also losing a lot of hair each day since having my baby and I don’t like all those loose hairs going on him. Idk anyone who wraps and I’ve never met anyone who wraps. I do not have a Facebook . But I’m so grateful I clicked on your video. Not only was your video what I needed but you taking time out of your day to comment back has really encouraged me. I’m sorta surrounded by people who like to give their opinions lol so hopefully I’ll be brave and start wrapping 🙏🏻❤️thank you again

@@sarahrivkah just to clarify (because I reread my message and didn’t want it to be misconstrued) I’m around a lot of people who like to give their opinions and most likely we question negatively why I’m wrapping suddenly. I did not mean you were part of this group. I wanted your opinion and so grateful that you lead your opinion with kindness and didn’t judge me at all with anything I said. Sorry for commenting again I was just concerned that with how I worded it that perhaps I had said it in a way that could be taken rudely. Thank you again. Bless you ❤️

I'd like to try that last veil style you did, but you went so fast that I couldn't understand how you took 2 ends from opposite sides up and over your head, yet they both wound up on the same side? I'm a complete novice. I have rewatched and I still don't understand.

Hi! So, with the first scarf end that I brought up over my head, I kept wrapping it around and under the back of my head so that the tail ended up back more or less in the same place where it began. The second scarf end, I wrapped it up over my head in the opposite direction to meet the first tail on the other side of my head. Does that make sense?

I had to make my petal soft significantly longer on the end that I'm wrapping around and pulling to the other side. I think my head is a little too big for this or something. It looks ok but where I tie the ends together is pretty short. Am I doing something wrong? Any tips would be helpful!
