I always feel so bad for him. I hated when in season 2 everyone's like "you got us stuck here!" Like yeah maybe he did, but he warned you all that he never did it before and that there might be consequences!! Not to mention he saved your life!

I agree SO much. I love all of them, but I do feel that his siblings underappreciate him and don't really understand what all he's been through. And then they blame him when all he wants is to save their lives. He hides behind his sassiness and his cutting words, but Five loves them so much. I just wish they'd show him more gratitude and love I guess?

The really needs a freaking break, he's been through so much I don't know how he can handle all that stress and not breakdown...oh well how about a scene where he finally breakdown infront of his siblings maybe, just maybe they can finally understand how lucky they are for having Five as their brother

he carried the 3 seasons, and yet was unappreciated and was the only sibling who never got a name

well he didn’t get one cause he traveled forward in time where everyone was dead and around the time the younger verizon of himself the (13 yr old consciousness) of him didn’t get a name yet neither did the others at that time

I feel like that might be intentional on the show's part. Maybe even significant.

People forget he was 13 years old when this happened, if you saw you’re entire family, you’re house, you’re life, gone, and everything else, how would you react?

Exactly! Even if he came back and avoided those outcomes, it doesn't cancel out that he genuinely experienced and went through that. It doesn't change the fact that he went through that trauma for real. Everything he went through really happened for him. And not just once, but twice. He saw them all get gunned down in front of him, too. He was going to be murdered with the last thought having of been failing his siblings. He was a child when it happened and it's why I don't think he ever truly matured the way that he should've. He may be 58, but in a lot of emotional aspects, he's still that traumatized kid desperate to save his family. Him coming back in a child's body gets downplayed a lot and used for comedy, but it's so important in how he should be viewed as a character. It wasn't intentional on his part, but it's like he's trying to 'reset' the clock on the childhood that he had stolen from him with the loss of his family. Give this man a break omg.

And then they left him in S3 after he kept coming back to them... Plus he was powerless and Reginald is still alive, its too dangerous for him to start roaming on his own in a 13 years old body while being powerless.

Five never did anything for himself, everything he did was for his family he tried and tried and tried and tried to save his family again and again

Five deserves some love in the next season. It was heartbreaking the way everyone left, and the face he made when he watched them go (except for Viktor).

five deserves to take a proper break in season four, and his siblings should realize how much he goes through

His family always took what he did for granite but he did it all for them. He’s always saying “I did it for my family” or “How can I save my family”. It’s just sad that he also spend 45-ish years alone and as he said “That much time alone can do weird things to your mind”. I think he cares deeply for his family but he never got the time to express it or to show it.

at the end of the day fives is just old, broken and tiered. all he wants is to take a break but he cant, he dosnt even get any appreciation from his siblings. best character in the whole show

i really wanted like a whole break down but i guess they just forgot how mentally messed up 5 is and just decided that relaxing and being an old man is his sole purpose as a character now. idk i just feel like five’s character has so much unexplored depth, so many missed opportunities:/

I feel like S4 will be his breaking point. He has gone through SO MUCH yet the only one who was there for him was Klaus and a mannequin. They even left him to fend on his own at the end of S3. Not to mention he was powerless that time as a 13 years old, what could a powerless 13 years old do in a dangerous world without anyone to be by his side??? I have a hunch the if something bad happens again he won't even try to fix it anymore, he would probably just give up while his siblings try to ask for help. What was the point anyway? He has gone through all that pain for nothing, he still lost his siblings who he loves so much in the end 😕

this edits phenomenal it told his story perfectly. i felt so bad for him,i only hope things can get better from here on out. I honestly love his character to bits.

The thing is, he was the person to say to Viktor that a villain is someone that sacrifices the world for their loved ones (like he was doing), and a hero someone who sacrifices their loved ones to save the world.
