Sometimes, you almost forget that Five has killed so many people, he has these moments, where you know he’s capable of anything, whether it be inhuman or not. Despite that, you look at theses scenes and see Five, a boy who wants to save people, a boy who doesn’t want to get hurt nor hurt others. Five is composed of these two conflicting yet seamlessly blended halves. I believe your edit perfectly illustrates that :)

I think people don't talk about five pushing Luther out of the way of the bricks enough. Luther wasn't really in going to be hurt from the bricks we have seen him take worse hits but that's not what mattered to Five. Five saw Luther in danger and didn't hesitate to take the hit for him. Five may pretend not to care but he does. It is shown time and time again.

He is the only character I feel the worse for nobody tries and understands him but he cares about everyone deeply. Every one of her brothers and sisters treated him like complete shit and never tried to understand him also holy crap your editing is awsome.

And he is justified to not have as good people skills not just that this man has dedicated his life to protect his family and stop the apocalypse but his family rather than actually helping him treat him like shit and expect his to clean up their mess and then act suprised that they fucked over the timeline.

He's the best character imo because he's logical, practical and does what needs to be done. He's not a people pleaser but he's also not an "a$$hole" like people claim him to be. He just cuts straight to the point and tells everyone what needs to be done because he's that much wiser than them and most of the time, is right.

@@motivated2473 they treat him like a loony toon, did not tried to sit down and listen to him, diego in the first few hours of meeting his brother after so many years again tried to lunge at him, they were all collectively pretty shitty to him in the beginning of season 2, they constantly demeaned the existence of Delores without even giving a moment to think about what Delores meant to five and why it was so. and i dont know maybe get the dude a therapist? mans been alone for what 40 years was a time mercenary and relied on an imaginary wife to not go insane and thier response to it was "oh welp, guess thats that onto some bullshit we will blame on him later on"

What a fantastic edit. I love that your edits aren't simply just Five being a bad ass (which he certainly is). They also show the other sides of him - his deep love and devotion to his family, his complicated emotions involving his time at the Commission/being an assassin, the guilt he feels for having left his family. Your edits are always impressive, well thought out, and give me chills. It's very evident how much work you put into them. Steve Blackman couldn't have chosen a better actor for Five. Aidan played it off so well!! Aidan is so smart and he pulls off the "58 year old man in a 13 year old's body." Honestly, Aidan is so smart, he could probably pull off a 58 year old wise man's intelligence. If that makes any sense lol 🤍

I realised Five cares about the family more than the rest of the siblings. Allison would come second, i think. Five saw they die, again and again and he's literally the only one whose keeping this family alive. I'd like to see some of his childhood since how could someone so pragmatic cares so much emotionally about his family.

Five is scared of his actions and what he dose because not listening and scared seeing his family die so he never time traveled again when he had chance thinking he would die also he is a mentality sad trying to live a normal life agin and he trying to go back in time and listen and sit down he really would like to see ben once more and also he can save Ben so he think about the next chapter in his life with his family to save the world before he dies at a old age. He is crazy for the fact that he saw he family crushed so that’s y he says what about my family bring up Ben half of the time . And five was the only one who knew after they told vanya she had no powers so he was depressed for the rest of his life before the handler

This is lovely, it tells his story so well. The song near the end fits so well and the bit with Reginald, damn, if he could’ve been that interested and gentle when they were kids, but he’s better talking to Five as an adult, huh.

If we think well, Five is so sad with a sad life, he pass and lives and saw so much horrible things and trauma. I was always sad for his character 🥺

Masterpiece. This is art. After watching this video, I've decided to express less hatred towards the other siblings because at least after 2 seasons with all the blaming they made, some of them finally spoke up and asked whether Five is okay. I guess I missed some of the lines since I just watched the series once and this video clarified that. Five and what he's been through so far need to be recognized by his siblings and I'm glad that they are showing progress in the 2nd season, slow but understandable. That's why I'm so looking forward to season 3

OMG, This is a Masterpiece! I love it! Five is THE BEST CHARACTER OF TUA EVER!!! Five is really a complex character! I really love how you showed all the scenes of him caring for his family, because all he did was for his family! And they never thanked him, they all blamed him, Poor Five! I really like how you show his guilt for have killed for the Commission, even then he did that for his family! And I like how you showed his Trauma for being alone in the apocalypse for 45 years, also seeing your family die 3 times it's not so easy! Throughout the show everything he did, he always did for his family! This side of him is sooo underrated! So... I hope that in season 3, they will at least thank him or hug him for doing all that he did for them! I've made some edits of Five too, I would be really happy if you could see some and comment it!

Five was so mistreated. He deserved so much better. He literally got stuck in the future for 45 years and when he finally got the power to return to the present, they treated him so badly. They all blamed him for being stuck in the 1960s in S2!! Like he saved their lives! And they are mad because they got stuck in the past? They got stuck and yet again Five was gonna save the world yet again. He killed so many people to get them back to 2019 and they are the reason they couldn't get back because they didn't show up on time. Yet they are gonna blame five! I love Five and he deserves everything. His siblings certainly don't deserve him.

Youre truly one of the best five editors. I love how you can always capture the "grey-ness" of five's character. Like he's definitely not a saint. He literally killed people as his job and he barely felt guilty since he's mentally fcked thanks to total isolation for literal years You also dont just show what a badass he is, like some people see him as only the cool, fearless, arrogant character. But you also show how his every action mostly (if all not) is driven by his love for his family. He risks his own life, his sanity, his morals, for his family. And you manage to picture his character amazingly. N*tfl*x really should hire you as the official editor of five videos for real

Even if Five is 58 in his consciousness, he still has the heart of a child. He can be mean and sassy yes but can you blame him? He has been in so much pain, alone for 45 years, with the company of a mannequin. He loves his family so much that he will do anything for them.

This is one of the best edits I've ever seen. The way you portrayed how much five goes through and how he still hasn't recovered from the apocalypse. He was alone in an empty world and then had to train as an assassin. For 45 years. And then the very first day he returned, he had to start saving the world. And he keeps pushing himself because he knows only he can accomplish it, but he can't do it without his family. But he is so used to being alone and doing everything by himself he doesn't even consider asking them for the majority of the time. He's a very complex character, and you displayed that complexity and suffering wonderfully. Thanks for coming to my tedtalk lol

feel like everyone watches TUA just liking five for his character, but never really understands the depth his character actually had to go through. and i partially blame the show because it focuses more on five's sass and the fact that he's a man in a boy's body, rather than an established adult that's lived a rough life. this edit really puts it all in perspective ㅡ the journey he's been through just to get back to his family, and also to keep them together and safe 🤗

I love your edits sm and this kind of edits where you can see, what for me, defines Five as a character (not talking about his personality that's another thing). I mean, his character at the end revolves around his family: his motivations, goals, his hope when he was in the apocalypse, his work at the Commission. Of course there's more into him than that but well, you captured really well how everything he did was for them. He says mean words but he cares deeply. He expresses his feelings more through action rather than with words. And I think you showed that really well here. It was actually a lil bit heartbreaking how his siblings were all blaming him throughout the second season like ??? Man was actually showing a more vulnerable side of himself, willing to look for their help and uhm,,,yeah it stung. Great job as always. You're a blessing to this fandom. 💜 PS. I loved the format of the vid, like telling a story, beginning with the title "what about my family? To "it's a long story" and boom, it really does showcase that his journey was essentially with his family always in his mind.

This is beautiful. A true masterpiece. Five has gone through so much, that we sometimes forgot about it because of how badass and witty he normally is. He rarely ever talks about his trauma, and when he does, he stops himself because he knows this isn’t the time nor the place. He knows talking about his problems won’t solve doomsday. Everything he does, he does for his family, for the world. This captures his story, his arc, and his drive. Nothing is more important to him than his family, and it saddens me when people call him “selfish”. Fantastic work, I love it ❤️

The fact that I keep being depressed/sad about Five about his "adventures" in his time traveling and I keep talking about it. One time I was crying about Five for 5 minutes or more while I was watching TUA because I wanted to cry my eyes out about him. Like, the fact that he was alone/lonely at the apocalypse, so he found a mannequin, which is Delores, he always talks to her like she's real because he was craving for someone to talk to. He loves his family so much he would risk his life to save them and they don't even thank him or hug him. It's like, they never even appreciate him as their brother. He may be mean or rude, but he has a good and kind heart in the inside, they just don't know it yet. AND HOW THEY BLAMED HIM FOR TIME TRAVELING??? HEY HE TRIED FOR YOUR GUYS SAKE OKAY??? He doesn't want to kill innocent people but he had to join the Commision to get back to his family. He regretted not listening to Reginald and/or he regretted time traveling. He deserves more. JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE WITH HIS FAMILY FOR 5 HOURS OR MORE TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM AND LET THEM TAKE A BREAK JESUS. And the Hargreeves may also need to comfort him, whether he likes it or not because he needs comfort.

Shit i've never noticed that five has said i'm sorry (couple times)... Ur video's really good spotting all those moments we might have missed and compiling them together, it looks actually like a professional trailer or sth but only for those who watched the show because only they could feel the emotions if u know what i mean. Only thing i missed was the scene with 5 killing those 12 people and this psychopatic smile on his face... that really showed what years of being alone and working for comission made to him... he hates killing but he's done this do many times it became a part of him and ruined his mind

See it’s so messed up because he hasn’t only seen his family dead at 13 but he was alone for 45 years (+however long he was in the commission) but when he did come back to try to save them he was belittled, berated, insulted and basically told to screw himself and he STILL saved them. This edit was really fantastic and showed the deeper side of five. Thank you for making it ❤❤❤
