I just lost my son my youngest at 37 years old on November 28th. And my oldest son recommended me to play this song at the end of his services and it was a perfect song for us all to say goodbye and to have closer to the real reality of loosing Nick. Plus he loved Five Finger Death Punch but every single time I hear it I cry really hard and I’ve never ever felt a hurt like this loosing my beautiful Son my heart aches I can still hardly breath thinking about it. And today is my first Mother’s Day without him.😢😭 I LOVE YOU NICHOLAS JAMES COSTILO I WISH YOU WAS STILL HERE !!

My dad passed away February 7th from covid-19 complications. I'm going through a rough time in life as a whole right now. As I was driving home I was talking to him. Screaming at him actually and crying and this song came on and I had my entire Spotify library on shuffle. Talk about timing. Guess he heard me. ❤️

I think it was meant to be. This came on for me at a time i didn't want to think of it all while working. But loved ones pass at inopportune times and why not communicate at seemingly inopportune times. I drive a truck and was in years when this hit me in the heart with five knuckles. I was wiping tears 😭 at the exact moment the lyrics played "Wipe away your tears for me". Thanks Dad. Always knew when to show love. Condolences on your loss.

Oh they definitely send us signs they hear us and are with us. Music is one of them. That's my favorite way event though it pulls those xlarge and heavy tears out. They know what they're doing. Keep talking to him. He'll keep communicating with you. They just left their flesh, the vehicle forr the soul.

@@dominoediggs8769 Through music, our favorite numbers showing up everywhere, their smell, wind inoors, drawings showing up, lights etc. My dad (gone for 31 years) communicates through 8 light bulbs. (We were 8 person, mom, dad, 3 adult kids, 3 inlaws) It took me a while to figure it out which light bulb was who, what was flickering, what was low light, bright light etc by asking many questions. My hubby became scared lol, doesn't believe in such things. (He saw the light, was in a tunnel himself, 3 meters forwards towards the light but was pushed 5 meters back again and again for two weeks in the hospital but he still doesn't believe there's more than we can see on earth) Now that 8 bulb lamp is broken, can't communicate anymore but dad sends me frogs now and then when I'm sad or angry. (About propaganda on TV) Even have frogs in the livingroom, a long way for the frog. When I step outside, (road in front, huge garden in the back) and I'm sad, a frog is waiting behind the backdoor for me. We loved 🐸. One day a frog was drawn inside a piece of furniture. HUH? Hubby didn't do that, I didn't do that. We give dad flowers on his birthday, death day and fathers day. His flowers weren't available so we bought him roses. One by one the roses bowed in slow-motion. All heads down touching the cabinet. I think he wanted his beloved flowers, not roses lol. I miss my dad every day. MY TREE, MY ROOTS, MY BLOOD, MY DAD. He will always find his way to communicate with us. Wind through my hair indoors petting my head. His smell (his beloved fragrance doesn't exist anymore) and sometimes he calls my name, I hear him. Our beloved ones will never leave us. Kudos

I keep a journal for my son to read when I have passed on. Hopefully, I have many many years ahead of me... but the other day when I was writing this song came on and while I had heard it before, suddenly it took on new meaning for me. The idea that he would be reading this when I was gone, the song made me realize that it was another version of the message I was sending him through the journal I was putting together.

@@jessicapierce8213 It's incredible how we can feel comfort in the most unsuspecting way. I had the same experience when i was 11. My mother passed away suddenly and I was torn. I was such a Mama's boy back then. I still remember 37 years ago hearing for the first time "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton. In that moment I felt my mom's arms wrapped around me for a big warm loving hug like she always gave me. I knew then I would be okay. This song made me feel the same for my father. It's incredible start to finish. Condolences for you loss as well.

Always a listening ear, The friend who was always there, The one that will live on in my heart for years, I miss you more than anyone could ever know. You inspired me, And made me feel like my life was worth living, No matter how hard life got, No matter what, I shouldn't give up. I think of you daily, And I fondly, Remember all our memories, And treasure them, like the biggest and purest gems, Even when I cry over your loss, I always remember that you made me promise to not toss, My life away. You would think I'd be concerned. But something about how well he takes the topic was able to calm me as well. And I'm beginning to be less scared. It'll happen someday. And I don't want to die. But that shouldn't keep me from living.

Hope everyone here is doing okay these days. Be safe and know that people care about you, even if it may not feel like it at times. If you are feeling troubled, maybe professional help is the answer, or talking to a trusted friend about what you are going through. Wish you all the best.

Lost my cousin who was like a little brother to me about a week ago , honestly hadn't heard this song from 5 finger death punch but as I listened i knew it was my cousin trying to tell me it would be ok . Granted it was on pandora that I had heard it , so totally random .
