Y'know, you seem really kind and genuine so I'll let you off. Ivan is notorious for terrible lyrics, it's his sound and vocal skills that make him stand out. No, I won't be that guy "you should listen to blah blah". I'm just informing you, death punch isn't known for their lyrical depth

@Aarons Reaction ooof... saw them in 2000. They are hard to beat. Everything from the Album with One on it kinda was.. painful, but before then, they were the best of the best. They would've beaten Rocky in the ring.

"I don't want to have to fall on the knife. Forever after, this disaster. Bring the afterlife." Those lines just bleed into my body every fucking time. Such a well made song, I've been looking forward to this since February. Keep it up, long live metal!

I love this band, but the vocals are not the best imho. The vocals always suit their lyrics though. David Draiman, Disturbed, his vocals are the best in hard rock/metal/heavy metal land and it also suits their lyrics 😳. David is definitely the best vocalist. I love both bands, their music/lyrics/vocals. Deep meanings in every track and their music is always energizing me when I need that.

How is that even possible?? 😂 Anything the Churko brothers touches turns to absolute garbage. He ruined Ded and Gemini Syndrome as well. Guess I'll go back to Vain Velocity since they're the only ones left with some effing balls. If you listen to their album Emerge & See you'll hear what I mean. It destroys the bigger bands in the genre. Also I miss Ivan in Motograter and Ghost Machine because atleast those bands had style AND substance to their music. 5FDP feels like a military gimmick geared towards Monster drinking-Affliction-T-shirt-wearing soccer moms. I used to be the biggest fan of this band I still love their older stuff but yeah Nicholas is right bands like Vain Velocity destroy modern 5FDP and their lyrics are actually really unique and have deep meaning

I found you guys back when I was an awkward, prepubescent *7th grader*. The Hard To See music video got me curious, and then Far From Home made me realize you guys were a force to be reckoned with, something deceptively unique/special, in music. Something worth paying *very* close attention to. (FFH is *still* one of my fave riffs of all time) That signature anger/grit, mixed with never-wasted lyrical content that fuels those very feelings (anger/grit), Ivan's unique voice/demeanor, and cathartic soaring/catchy choruses... Its a potent mixture. That can even make you realize its maybe all for a larger reason. Anger, is not fun, but yet, its an essential part of being human. I did my best to be a pacifist growing up...I ran away from/didn't *really* deal with the things bothering me. You guys taught me that being angry is...okay. That there's a time and place to address/deal with everything. And even channeled properly, it can do some good. I know I'm not the only one out there who needed help realizing that. Anyways, I've been following ever since. Its been FIFTEEN YEARS. Heck, I'm closing in on a decade since graduating from college and starting in this career. You guys are titans now. And I'm still loving damn near everything you guys put out. Album after album. This song kicks ass. This next album, without a doubt, will as well. I honestly don't think there's any other musical artist that I'm a fan of that's kept my attention for *this* long. You guys have kept the music quality dialed all the way to 💯 *consistently* across *ALL* of your albums. Well, I'm clearly here for life. 🤘🥲

I got into FFDP a about six years ago but every sense I been hooked there are truly one of the best refreshing metal acts every . You really can't trust bands now a days every sense Metallica sold out with that ridiculous album called the Black album and everything after except maybe hardwire . FFDP in my book took back metal and put a new face to it . I am so glad someone put in a CD of this band now I own everything on them .

These guys are great and fun to hang out with. I did a photoshoot for a local radio station at one of their shows and they were so cool.... I hope at some point to get to hang out with them again.......

My friend killed him self in December 2021. FFDP was his favorite band. We always listened to them together and We saw them In concert in 2018. It was our first real rock concert. We did more than that together. We ran together and road motorcycles together. We drifted apart when I left to school and we barely talked. He texted me one day and asked “are we still best friends?” My response was no. It haunts me to this day and I wish I could take it back. I’m upset with myself that those were the last words I said to him. I’ll never understand why he did what he did and I miss him everyday. I wish I could just see him one last time. Thank you FFDP for releasing music that really hits home. He would have loved to hear this song and the rest of the upcoming album. ❤️ Thanks for reading this

It never ceases to amaze me how deep these songs cut into my mind. I have so much in my past, that I can regret. I dont like looking at the destruction left in my wake through life. This song, and others from 5fdp truly hit home.

I cannot get enough of this song! The louder the better!

Seems like every new FFDP album takes awhile to grow in me. I have to listen many times to truly start to appreciate it. Took 6 months to really start to move got your 6, less for F8 because of so many strong songs that just grab you.

I promise a thing and one thing only no matter how fuk’d up the world is going to happen my grand kids will know about this band !!!

This has to be one of the greatest songs I have ever heard! I listen to it on repeat! I cant get enough!

I am new to the party as did not find 5FDP until just a few months ago with the F8 album but loving all the recent work and this is yet another excellent track 💁🏻‍♂️

All the barcodes, QR codes and lyrics... i like the way they use music and clips to say what we know all, but what most of us try to hide to ourselves. Great music, great lyrics, great message ! FFDP still at the top as always !

I love everything they do...they have seriously mage level magic talent

If it didnt say what it is saying, and I didnt agree with what it is saying so much, I still wouldnt be 100% on it. It reminds me of how I felt/still feel about Living The Dream from F8. Its message makes it better and enough to add to my Apple Music library.

i heard the intro and i couldn’t be any happier with what this band has done over the last album the last one i really enjoyed by these guys was wrong side of heaven and probably wrong side of heaven 2 those were the best since they went on to improve in F8 fucking loves that album it came out in such a bad time historically but such an amazing time in my life because it was really just uplifting with songs like brighter side of grey and little bit off both songs are fucking amazing and songs like this is war really showed aggression and anger so well the whole album was just what i want five finger to be and then they made afterlife and it’s just getting better can’t fuckin wait for the rest of it to come out

i remember seeing these guys at MayhemFest in '08 when they were on the side stage. come so goddamn far since then!
