As a person that hauled oversìzed loads from one end of Canada to the other and New york to Cape Cod people dont realize the complexities of such a undertaking. I comend you on taking on such a endeavor and wish you nothing but success.

Tim's father is such a true gentleman, and a really great driver. Congratulations on a job well done
What a crazy situation you have going on with this boat. Your dad is awesome. The amount of pressure he had on his shoulders to get this boat delivered. Now, let’s roll part 2 Timmy!!
That was a "Level 7" inspection. Not even close to a Level 1. Level 7 is a jurisdictional mandated commercial vehicle inspection as per Connecticut state permit regulation.

They didn’t tell you to bend over while they was getting the Vaseline out and rough rider!!so yeah probably a level 7!!
Boy I got excited for you Tim. I hate those scales and pickle park but when it comes to oversized loads in Connecticut it’s the best parking area with plenty of room. Your dad is a straight up Boss calm cool and collected. You too of course. I appreciate the videos y’all put out. Keep up the good work.
Wow great video brother ol pops still getting er done glad more videos are coming out y'all take care be safe
Old dirty sounding good! Tim you still have my coat and two way radio! Ha! I’ll get it back next time I’m down. Thanks, your pilots!!

35 yrs pulling over size loads......Never one issue........gotta love it
Well there goes the originality of this channel
Wowza. That's a hellva a lot of vehicles in your convoy
Bucket truck was like I want away out if needed
Hard work bro pays off. Y’all are some of the best. That’s why yall are the ones doing it !!!
Damn, that is one large boat!
The best view of NYC is in your Westcoast mirrors from the comfort of your driver seat.
Lol the Ridgefield Days Inn.
I'm so glad I got to watch you fly on an airplane, airport video was fantastic, you even rented a car too, WOW 😮😮
I'm surprised you didn't need those front flags for the whole journey.
If the boats functional, why not hire a captain to move the boat via water. My son has transported 65’ yachts from Boston to Ft Myers Fl and delivered a yacht from Ft Lauderdale to RI. Obviously the owner wanted to avoid land transport.. so I’m guessing this boat isn’t sea worthy ? 🤔 My question was answered when the trooper asked you the same question.
Why didn't he just have someone pilot the damn boat all the way around It would have been a 3-day trip😂 there's the captain of the boat and then there's the pilot that oversees the boat through every harbor or surrounding areas close to the land so I don't understand why not just hire somebody to pilot the damn boat all the way through all the way around would have been way easier same price to do it but it would have been done faster having someone operating all night and then all day behind the helm of the boat I mean probably within two days you would have had it to where it needed to go
@christopherwoycke1959

I think you are confusing a large commercial vessel with this small private boat. There are no "pilots" needed for "harbors or surrounding areas". You hire a delivery captain and he/ she will stipulate the crew needed for the voyage.
@Bread996
Ай бұрын
That little boat would get its butt kicked in open water. Wear and tear on the vessel, hours on the engines. You've got to pay the captain and the cost of fuel. And if you have a failure out there and end up in a harbor for repairs, you still pay the captain every single day. Far less risk moving these by truck.
I’m impressed Timmy hell yea
Transporting that boat to Connecticut from Florida over land was stupid. I could have transported that boat over water in less time and for far less cost. I have moved many boats from one coast to another over water when I was younger. I would charge around $10,000 + fuel for a Florida to Connecticut trip. Taking it via water requires zero disassembly. It only takes one person to move the boat over water.
@Bryanja81

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of owning a trucking company and posting youtube videos of hauling a boat? I'm sure Tim doesn't care if it's cheaper by water.

I love the channel and your family. Keep up the hard work. I'm looking forward to the big things..
As a long time boater I am often asked about trucking a boat across the U.S.. From East Coast to West Coast or reverse. Leaving the Pacific or Atlantic for the other. I tell them unless it is important for time schedule and you do not care about cost, expect ten thousand and up, no upper limit. Some are so tall power lines need to be moved. I am happy for you to show everybody how much fun it is. I will be sharing your videos in the future as the question comes up.

As much as that inspection sucked and I can feel y’all’s frustration. It is truly awesome to see yall take your job extremely serious and yall clearly know and care about what you are doing. We all know that there are other companies and trucks that make the industry look horrible. Good job Gentry & Sons…

I just started watching y'all and I 100% support y'all. I honestly used to be scared to drive on the highway because of the semi's but now I don't mind to drive on the highways and give the truckers the rm they need and even times I have slowed down to a slower speed to even let a truck over... Hi Tim Gentry and Sons and family
Love the videos enjoy watching all of them.
Good thing he slowed down going under the bridge. Of course if he did and hit the bridge he might not make it all the way under so maybe we should speed up so you come out on the other side "break on through to the other side, break on through!". Doors song.
This must be your first over size load !!!
Golly bum guys I got chills wen it went under the first overpass. quit teasing us tim get this content on here I can't wait for the rest of it
Where can I get an extra Smedium "Golly Bum!" T-Shirt?!😂 Love ya, Tim and the Gentry fam!
The GENTRY N SON parade at the chicken coop lol
I saw you heading East on 84 in CT that was a sight to see
Good first half👍
I live on the PA/NJ/NY line right off of Route 84, you’re not kidding about the potholes in NY. They’re better than they were 25 years ago though, my dad used to haul a car carrier up 84 and as a kid I remember the expansion joints were so bad they’d max out the seat suspension every few seconds for 45 minutes straight.
OMG, the rental you drove. The Surburban, it looked familiair so was the license plate. So I looked up the photo’s of our visit to the States last year in may. Our rental was a Suburban only the license plate was 201691. 🤣🤣🤣 Greetings from the Netherlands. Big fan of your video’s👍🏻
Well, i guess now you know if going to Connecticut make sure everything is tip top they wasn't messing around, but yall got threw it none the less. I can't wait to see the next one where the fun begins. Also, im with you to hell with taking the top off that boat 🚢 for sure if you absolutely had to, then that one thing, but if not, then leave it for sure. Until the next one stay safe out there
Man this video has it going on! Well done guys! 💯💪

Good decision. Boomerang has some really good cartoons. They are more interesting too.
Whites crossing on Parks highway had frost heaves form so high that vehicles would bottom out and saw a dozer get bounced off the trailer, snapped the chains, then saw another truck get the front axle snapped the heave's were right in the middle of a curve , worst up there was 1 commercial vehicle inspector, as he would write violations if you had snow covering any light or plate, it is ALASKA in the winter you will have snow on lights/plates within a mile.
Make sure your Dad gets his bonus for that good level 1 inspection.
Welcome to Connecticut,
welcome to my home state of CT, i new as soon as i saw that rest stop you were here lol
Hey Tim, love your trucking content. Always look forward to your next one. Saw you and Rooster pulling a boat on I-95 the other day in SC. Beautiful rig ! I have maybe a little suggestion.... Jeff Barron and his daughter Hannah Barron both have very excellent successful hunting, fishing, cooking, etc. channels in Alabama. Good ole down south hard working country folks like yourself. They both end with "appreciate ya all" instead of "love you" That just sounds better.
Been in that exact spot where you got to the boat. Rest area-scale house 😂❤
Connecticut is rough on oversize, yea no matter what make sure ure to the T in connect, definitely flags on all 4 corners of the vehicle!
Good beautiful evening y'all
One of these days I'll drive down there and meet all of you
you shoulda yelled out "hillbilly up" on that subway....hahaha
Spend all the time talking and then drop.off when it was up to going and moving dam wait all that time for a 10 minute video
the name of the boat made me liked the video before finishing it lol
At least it seems like you got a decent set a troopers, did their job and weren't trying to stick you up.

I was curious about the flags. We always had one on all 4 corners of truck, trailer and load
A pilot car and 5 troopers escorting this thing, and they're worried about a couple flags smh.
Speaking of Bucket trucks i just saw United Rentals rents bucket trucks lol i was passing some construction were they were installing electric poles today and was just wondering who it was but they were using united rental bucket trucks lol.
