I tend to copy. I like cute things, if I see it, I want it. Not to be the person wearing that item. And if it becomes a thing where I'm copying a specific person then I think we just have a lot in common or they might inspire me

When I was a young wife with four little boys- money was TIGHT!. I had been pining for Vanilla Lace body spray and cream…..My frenemy asked me to go with her to the mall to pay a bill with her….We went into Victoria’s Secret. She bought Vanilla Lace products- enough for THREE women! Her little girl whispered, “Mama, are you buying some for auntie?” She just quietly folded the VERY LARGE bag and we went home. ( She NEEDED to SHOW me that she COULD buy it on a whim.) Fast forward 35 years. She is divorced, and her kids can’t stand her. We went on to prosper and I now own TWO homes and live at the beach! 🏖️ GOD IS GOOD!🎉🎉🎉

Some people are just weird. Forever 11 years old.

I went through this with a friend. I used to tell her everything, but she would hide what she was doing. I also noticed she started to mention my plans around people that I didn’t want to know…she would always say that it was an accident. Things became really clear when I started to get more attention to her. It’s really pissed her off and she started making comments about living in people’s shadow. I started to distance myself and I no longer share things with her.

I deal with this exact issue but with men. It s the most annoying. But also hurtful shit. You sit there thinking someone is your friend but they really aren’t

Had a friend I cut off a month ago and found out he was envious of my family, personality, height(he is 5’9 and feels inferior), and who knows what else. Every time we hung out he would just go on and on non stop about himself and his career and cars. He always tried to make everything a point or lesson, kind of like he was trying to give me advice on my life even though I did not ask for it. Such people drain your energy. Leave them.

I had a envious “friend” set me up to get my car stolen 😩 I noticed the envy but I didn’t think it could get this far

this happened to me !! I told my friend I wanted to take a bartending class & sent her the website. She said we should wait bc she didnt have the 500$ yet… We went 2 months without seeing eachother & speaking much which caught my eye but I didnt think much of it. She called out of the blue insisting on seeing me to catch up, we sat down & the first thing she said is Oh, I just finished the class, I can officially bartend…… 😐

I had a “friend” buy a purse i told her i wanted my whole life in my face and it was the last 1. I told her i was torn between that bag and another and she literally turned around and said “i’ll take it”. Even the store clerks were shocked.

8:18 this i dont mind, if they dont want to share everything, that’s alright -- 8:47 oh…… I withhold info from people , but ppl have different access and responsibility levels. I have a lot of loose friendships, and i dont mind with loose ones not sharing and if they dont share with me. Maybe if I have a closer friend it’ll be different the types of things we share

You sound like a high maintenance friend. I dont think your friend was jealous of you, you just had high expectations of what you think friendship should be. Your definition of friendship might not be the same for everyone. As much as you might want to share everything, your friend might want to keep somethings to herself. Some people dont share because they dont want to jinx it, surprise you or just dont want you to feel disappointed if it doesn't work out for them.
