I just bought Colin’s knife you show at the end. For a seven year old knife it’s like new ! And I mean like new from the box. This is a great testimony to the build quality of a jacklore knife.

The knives are gorgeous, and your still photos are great, really shows the craftsmanship of the blade and leather work. You are developing into a true master craftsman, I hope that I can afford one of your knives when you start taking orders again. Keep up your fantastic work Sandy.

Nice vid. A quicker and easier method for drilling the holes right (well to me anyway) is to use a couple of dabs of superglue to fix a piece of liner material the correct thickness to the butt end on the outward facing side of the knife scales. That way however you position your scale on the press table the angle will be constant. Hope that makes sense. All the best.

Very nice work, I enjoy watching your videos. Why don't you drill the blank before you taper it, then you only have to keep the table 90* to bit? I was wondering how you finish you wood handles? Keep up the great videos!
