FITTING PIVIOT POINTS TO THE BUCKET, HOMEMADE GRAPPLE BUILD
This is a really exciting step for the grapple build! The first two parts of the first grapple arm are attached to the bucket! We also finish fabricating the cylinder supports and test fit the first cylinder to the rock bucket.

Thanks Ross! I wish I could get it built faster but time is hard to come by these days with overtime at work. Happy Easter to you and your family!
Just a suggestion . Make the bracket wider too clear cylinder barrel and use spacers on either side . 1045 grade steel pins . You won’t bend it . Those are good cylinders better then implement type . Watching closely . I need a debris rock bucket grapple. It’s on the list . 👍👍👍👍

Thanks for the suggestion! That is actually what I am planning to do. I appreciate you watching! Take care!
I may have won the race between getting our tractors running. It looks like you are going to win the grapple race. My grapple won’t be in until later next week at the earliest and most likely not until the end of the following week. I don’t have the 3rd function on my L2501. I am going to run hoses back to the rear remotes and operate the open and close functions off of the hydraulic lever. To put the 3rd function on the tractor now is over $ 1000. That is more than I care to spend when I have a cheaper option. Your project is coming along nicely Justin.

Thanks Gray! I still have a long way to go on the grapple It will not be done in just a couple of weeks. It's hard to make a lot of progress when you only have a couple of hours a week to work on it. But it is getting there! I agree, that is a lot. of money to spend when you have another option. I'm excited to see what grapple you ordered and see it in action!

@@JustCaidsDayFarm , you mean I still have a chance to win this race? 🤣 I am actually excited for both of us Justin. This is going to be great with both of us having grapples. I had the opportunity when I bought my L2501 to get the third function and at the time, I didn’t think I would ever need one. Boy was I ever wrong. You know what they say about hind sight

@@tractortalkwithgary1271 lol with out a doubt you have a chance. It’s going to be so awesome having a grapple. I have been wanting one for years. My wife thought I was wasting my money when I got the third function and that I bought a set of pallet forks. Boy does she regret saying that now. I wish I would have gotten rear remotes on my B2601 though. That’s on the list!
