Fitting aftermarket remote 4 Ford Galaxy VW Sharan Alhambra

This is how to fit a cheap aftermarket remote door opener closer to your VW Sharan, Ford Galaxy, SEAT Alhambra full stop it is probably best to disconnect the power when doing this so there is no risk of the window opening and cutting your hands full stop we accept no responsibility for injury or damages from this educational video full stop done at your own risk full stop
2021 update.
A wierd thing happens when you have used a key previously on the doors. I find if i have used a key on passenger side then only drive side will open. So try openening WITH KEY the passenger side door... Then have driver side also OPEN WITH KEY.... then try your locks now. May work with remote this time. Its a wierd quirk I found. Good luck. This is truthseekers666 by the way.
Also the remote fobs will die after about 6months. I think moisture in your pocket does it. However you can buy another kit for £10 with 2 new fobs and press the button on your alarm thing in the door to reprogram and your away... so still very much worth doing.
UPDATE: Some people have said they are having problems with this method so heres some added advice on troubleshooting wiring problems down deeper in the door hinge area:
No ideas sorry, unless its the following. Perhaps there is a deeper wiring issue at play with your car which is causing problems. For example in the door harness where it goes through from the door near the hinges to the bodywork of the car - because these wires are being bent and flexed every time the door opens and closes like any piece of metal they suffer fatigue and will snap. Visibly they may look ok from outside in the plastic but internally the wires may be gone. In this case these wires have stopped my windows opening and closing and the doors opening and closing. To fault find these you have to peel back the ruibber ribbed plastic hose to expse the wires inside and you have to either visually inspect wires that might have snapped or if they look intact you need to feel along them to see if you can feel the breaks inside. Failing that you can unspin the large connector on the bodywork and the pins are then exposed and with a multimeter and a needle to penetrate the wire further along make sure every wire is making contact. I found no less than 4 wires gone in my drivers door! Passenger doors being used less suffer less with this problem so I would start on the drivers door side first. Any wires found inside here which are obviously broken need to have the wire stripped back and soldered on. Do not just twist the wires together as a permanent fix as this will not last! Once soldered my advice would be if everything is then working to cover the soldered wires with SELF AMALGAMATING TAPE which is applied through a special method of stretching (WATCH KZread VIDEOS ON HOW TO USE SELF AMALGAMATING TAPE!!!!). This tape is impervious to weather and moisture so is very good. Hopefully the problem is just in the wiring somewhere. I know it can be daunting to take this on and I know I have to psyche myself up to do this repair when the solders break off again 6 months later but when you have found the problem and fixed it it is a joy to have working door locks and opening and closing windows! It s a real confined space to work in too so soldering skills and some tools like a locking forceps came in very handy for holding thinsg when I needed my hands free. Good luck.

If you touch open then close wires withing a 1 second not only will it lock the door but put on deadlocks and factory alarm, if you touch close then open within 1 second it will unlock deadlocks and turn of factory alarm , using 4 x 5 pin relays it will turn on and off factory alarm. If you are not sure how to wire up the relays you can do the same by just by tapping unlock then lock it will turn on factory alarm and deadlocks. Press lock then unlock it will turn off factory alarm and deadlocks. When I was fitting car alarms back in the day I used to do this on cars that weren't remote just worked with keys.

THE WIRING SHOULD BE THE SAME ON THE MASTER LOCK SIDE, IE DRIVERS SIDE. NOT SURE IF YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT PASSENGER SIDE. I HAVE TAKEN MANY PARTS OF GALAXIES AND ALHABRA AND THEY ARE ALL INTERCHANGABLE SO I THINK YOU WILL BE FINE.

Thanks for your reply, I've tried it today, and having problems l. Firstly it's the same type of unit as you used in the video, only my wiring is slightly different colours to yous, they are yellow white etc but in different order so what I did was follow your video pin by pin but the only way I could get anything to work was working it directly into the CCM as the driver's door lock didn't seem to power it up, weird one i know, all I could get anything to do was lock and unlock the passenger door, but doesn't activate the alarm. Any ideas or even an email address I can send you a picture off my wiring. The wiring loom on my car is the very same as you video, just the wiring diagram mine and yours is slightly different All help is greatly appreciated and having to put key into car passenger door all the time is a nightmare.
